We rented the 2 bedroom suite for just over 110 a night, taxes in!! They are very pet friendly, I travelled with my 35lb dog and my friend. Copper was welcome on the property and treated very well. Our room included 2 full bedrooms, living room, and eat in kitchen. We were allowed access to a bbq and fire pit on the grounds as well. Lynn the owner is very kind, she was very helpful during our visit. The room cleaner, Funny (sorry not correct spelling), does and amazing job keeping the rooms clean. We seen her many times around town and she was always very kind and helpful, even giving us a swim out when we floated to shore. This is an older building and not in perfect condition but the people, location and perks are all pretty amazing. We will definitely go back again!

My fiance, 18 year old daughter and I stayed for 2 nights and were very comfortable during our stay. A very nice, peaceful walk to all the adventures Manitou Springs has to offer and are pet friendly so we had our little Franklin with us enjoying the gorgeous sunset view from the balcony just outside our lakeview suite. Thank you so much for a delightful stay. We're already planning our next trip there!!!!

Salty Surf Beach Hotel is a lake-front gem of Manitou Beach where at a fraction of cost of Manitou Springs Hotel you can get a one or two bedroom suite with kitchenette and everything you need in this nicely decorated and functionally stocked place.
The staff is friendly and very helpful, and they keep the place very clean. They do their best to accommodate you and to get you what you need. You can enjoy your morning cup of coffee or watch a sunset on a balcony or from the main deck equipped with two new BBQs. There is also a spa in the same building run by a RMT with over 17 year experience. As a guest of Salty Surf Beach Hotel you'll get an additional discount on the spa services.

I stayed here in July because I just needed a bed and the ratings seemed good. The place is very messy. The clock did not work. The water was down to a trickle at times. No air conditioning and it was hot. I pulled open the bedroom curtains and the whole rod came down. A late night knock asking if I had ordered a pizza which I had not. I was ready to check out since the door was so thin and only a bathroom type keyed lock on the door. I did not feel secure. I would only stay at the Manitou Springs Hotel if I ever come back here again.

We used to stay in the little cabins attached to the Spa hotel and then we discovered the Salty Surf Inn and decided to try it out. If you like a little kitchenette, this is a great place to stay. We rented a 1 bedroom suite. One cozy room has a bed and the other a couch, TV, kitchenette and kitchen table with chairs. It's all pretty compact but feels cozy and homey. I really like being able to cook my own meals so I appreciated having more than just a microwave and some plastic cups!

It's easy to walk from the hotel to Danceland or the Spa but away from the bar with the noisy motorcycles.

We watched the sunset from right outside our room and had a nice view of the lake from the little balcony that was outside our room.

I really appreciated that we were able to bring our pet for only a small fee. She's clean and well-behaved and I really appreciated that the woman running the hotel didn't give us any grief when we checked in or out.

While this hotel is older, it is clean and in generally good condition. It is a good value and we likely will be staying there the next time we are at Manitou Beach.

We recently went to Manitou Beach for the first time and stayed at the Salty Surf Inn for nine nights. It is a nice, clean and quiet place. It is nothing fancy, nor does it claim to be, and is most definitely worth the very affordable price. We rented a two-bedroom unit and were very happy with it: the beds were comfortable, whereas the kitchen (although small) was practical and came equipped with everything we needed. The location is great: right next to the lake (and a pier where you can go for a dip or simply sit and enjoy the lovely view), a two-minute walk to Danceland, and less than a five-minute walk to Wellington Park Environmental Reserve. Actually, pretty much everything is within walking distance in Manitou Beach. In addition, the owners are really nice, very helpful and obliging, which made our stay all the more pleasant. We do not hesitate to recommend the Salty Surf, and would be happy to stay there again if we ever went back to Manitou Beach.

We spent 2 nights during the Christmas holidays and will stay again for sure! The unit was comfy, cozy, well equipped, and inexpensive. Makes week-end getaways to Manitou spa more affordable and pleasant.

This cute little place had everything we needed. We had a one bedroom unit with a kitchenette, so we were able to cut down our food costs by cooking all breakfasts and one dinner in our room. There was a nice deck with small tables and chairs so you could eat outside or just sit and relax. It wasn't the newest furnishings or anything, but very comfortable and clean, and for the price it couldn't be beat! It was right next to Danceland, and a 10 minute walk to the beach, the Manitou Springs Resort, and Mike's Beach Bar. We happened to be there on a very hot weekend, and with no air conditioning it was quite warm in our unit. That was the only drawback we experienced. There were 2 fans, plus a ceiling fan, which helped a lot. Overall, we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great location - close to grocery, restaurant and hunting. Friendly staff. Clean and well supplied rooms. Was able to cook most of our meals in-room. Good rates. Dog-friendly hosts. Enjoy the deck to sit and lounge.

Shawn and his family were super nice and spending the evening with them and other guests was one of the highlights of my trip across Canada.

The room wasn't luxurious but clean and I didn't encounter any issues with hot water as someone mentioned.

If I'm back in Manitou beach I will definitely stay here again.
