Good places to stay at an economical price in this part of Kansas can be difficult to find. At under $60 for a clean and comfortable room, friendly service, good WiFi, this is always a good bet. Though it is months or even years between visits, I am glad to return and have never been disappointed. I have recommended it...

Very friendly staff and decent little rooms. The rooms were very dated but clean. Decent rates and a good place to sleep. We needed it after driving from Texas to dodge city and touring dodge. No breakfast but there are restaurants close by. The motel across the street stinks very bad and couldn't understand English so we were glad to...

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, easy access to major roads. We were there in July and the whole city was in a fly breakout. The staff was very helpful in getting the situation under control. Beautiful lake just north of Scott city, check it out. We would stay there again.

We are traveling g cross country by bicycle, and when we stay I hotels, we have 2 requirements: clean and relatively inexpensive. This hotel was exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds, and oddrn amenities, such as a flat screen TV and internet. Additionally, the host was very fris dlyand helpful.

It was a pleasure to have you stay with us. We always welcome bicyclists pedaling across our fine state of Kansas on their way west or east. May you have safe travels.

An older motel but clean and everything else was great at location. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Stopped in unexpectedly when all surrounding roads heading to Denver were closed due to Blizzard Ajax.

The owners are super friendly and very accommodating! The decor in the room is older but the room is clean and I felt very safe staying here! The price is great! Outside is very nice and clean with good lighting!

What another find! The price of the rooms was determined by he number of people. We had a King bed that was comfortable, pillows a little flat but not a factor for an good nights sleep! Very clean and a nice large room. We were on a motorcycle and nice to park in front of our door. Also free Wifi....

My wife and I went to the Scott City area in order to see Monument Rocks, which is just north of Scott City. After some research on TA we decided to give the Lazy R Motel a try. The look of the motel is nice when you pull up. The grounds are clean and it has a nice feel to...

A business associate and I stayed here for three nights. The gal at the front desk, Linda, I believe her name is, was very kind and welcoming. She had no problem letting me check out a couple rooms before staying. After taking a peek at the rooms, I decided to stay here. The rooms are a pretty decent size, we...

Anyone who's been to Scott knows that it's difficult to find a room during the Whimmydiddle or the All-school Reunions, but I think this is the best motel in town. It's not luxurious, but it's clean and comfortable.

“Accessibility was great”

“I noticed my room, number 9, was the only room with a heating and cooling unit in the window out front. All the other rooms have a gas heater inside, which is quiet, and a wall-mount a/c inside on the back wall. If you like the sound of a moderately loud heating/cooling unit, like I do, pick room number 9. This would be good to drown out a snorer! If you like a quiet unit, pick any of the other rooms!”
