Bed and Breakfast type facility. This is perfect for a family to purchase rooms in one private property. It is a remodeled church building. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and offer plenty of privacy from the rest of the rooms. A continental breakfast is served and is very delicious. We even had home baked pastries.

This is the best place to stay within 50 miles of Sharon Springs for sure ! It is a beautiful well kept building. The bathrooms have deep tubs to soak in after a long day of driving and cozy beds to lay down in at night. My favorite part was waking up to the smell of bacon and biscuits cooking... More

Mt Sunflower B&B is an absolutely amazing place! Melba, the office manager, was kind and friendly. The entire B&B is in a 1922 Methodist church which has been converted into a B&B. Each room was different. Some rooms slept only 2 and had soaker tubs. Others fit an entire family with multiple bed rooms and full kitchens. Everything was immaculate... More

Super nice B&B. Rooms are nice sized very nicely done up. Nice and clean. Breakfast was very good. The rooms are modern and everything looks fresh. If you want to stay at a B&B this is absolutely the best one in town.

Had the pleasure of finally carving out some time to stay at Mt. Sunflower B&B. The atmosphere is so relaxed and beyond comfortable. We were able to look through the unoccupied rooms and pick the one that we wanted. We ended up going with room 21, a one bedroom King with a separate living room that has a pull out.... More

I just didn't want a sterile motel room up on I-70 (sorry, guys) and searched online for a B&B in western Kansas. This was quite the find, and their website doesn't say enough about themselves! Yes, it is an old church that looks nothing like one once inside. Open the door to cushiony beautiful carpet and shining wood handrails on... More

What a delightful visit to real America. Mt Sunflower B&B is beautifully furnished, delightfully staffed and the best breakfast we had the two weeks we were on the road. Going from KC to Denver this little side trip will only add a few minutes and be one of the highlights of you journey. The extra money goes to scholarships and... More

We stayed at this bed and breakfast for a family reunion. I was very skeptical when my mother in-law told us of our accommodations for the trip, but what a very pleasant surprise. The building was converted from a church. We heard that the owner wasn't making much money, so he donated it back to the church and they are... More
