the front gate didn't look like different than other modern boutique hotels, but when you enter for checking in, you will find a nice small pond with flat wood bridge to go inside the lounge. The lounge is serene in the morning and I felt like home when I came back to there in the afternoon. My friend used the...

Beautiful, Indonesian style rooms and garden. Extremely kind and helpful staff. I recommend trips organised by the hotel as well. Very good breakfast and other meals. On request breakfast possible even very early (for ex 4.30a.m.)! Very comfortable, safe, romantic. Strongly recommended!

The small hotel is a beautiful retreat after a long day of sightseeing in and around Jogja. The staff are truly caring and attentive. They are well-informed as far as what to see and how to see it, and even with regard to good shopping suggestions. They also offer guided ike tours. The hotel itself is located on the outer...

This place is just perfect! We really enjoyed our stay in this very nice hotel. The rooms were big, clean and nicely decorated in authentic Javanese style. The staff was soo friendly, they helped us with everything. We organised all our tours with them, we even cycled back from the Borobodur which is an amazing experience. There is soo much...

The staff of this small, quiet hotel is absolute wonderful. The restaurant offers a lunch or dinner menu with good Indonesian dishes. Breakfast is made to order: American, Indonesian or pancake, with coffee or tea, juice and fruit. I think the rooms facing the pool are the best. Some others are located near the communal area, others are in the...

Great boutique hotel, with excellent, helpful and friendly staff. Located north, it isrelatively close to brbdr and prambanan( take the guided bike tour!). Place is very charming, food is good (but not spectacular...), Rooms are kept clean. Staff are capable, friendly, skilled and speak excellent English. The only bad thing 'bout the place, is that they charge heftily for a...

This was an excellent little hotel (I think they only had 10 rooms or so) just outside Yogyakarta, on very calming grounds (nice pool and garden) with very friendly staff. The location is ideal if your intentions are to visit Borubudur and Prambanan (as our were) but if you want to go to congested Malioboro for shopping allow yourself about...

We had a great stay at Rumah Mertua. We immediately felt comfortable as we received a great welcome with a yummy juice and some local snacks. The swimmingpool was clean and there is a lovely garden. The staff was always busy with keeping the hotel clean and neat. The breakfast was very good. There is no buffet with (cold) food,...

An excellent place! The staff are kind and helpful and happy. The breakfast is varied every day and gives you an opportunity to try many different Indonesian things in combination with a Western breakfast if you prefer. All the food here is excellent. The decor is in the best taste and the rooms well equipped. Most with a outside area...
