We have been here several times but our recent stay in the lodge was disappointing. This place is in need of some serious updating and the staff seemed somewhat disgruntled. We found our room to be poorly cleaned and maintained and had trouble getting the...More
Like all KY state parks, a lot of maintenance has been neglected, but it's nice to see work is in progress to improve that. We stayed in a handicapped room, and I was very impressed with the excellent facilities in the tub/shower. (photo included) However,...More
We took our tweens here for a long weekend get a way. We had a room that had two entrances. One from the parking lot and one that walked out on to the patio surrounding the outdoor pool. This was very convenient for our family...More
This was more like a hotel in a wooded setting. The outside of the lodge is rustic, as in uh-oh, did I make a mistake here? Saving grace is the beautiful lodge great room, which hardly anyone seemed to use, and the individual rooms, which...More

There is no admission to the State Park. I am not sure what the rental rate for canoes etc is at this time. When I was there it was in the dead of winter. They also have a small but challenging golf course, A miniature golf course is in addition provided and there is some good hiking available. Lastly, I think the restaurant is one of the better ones in the State Park system. You can get online and either find the answer to your question or get a phone number for the park. I liked the place.
