The first room I was assigned to was not made up so I waited about 15 minutes for a new room assignment, which is not the end of the world, but I was arriving late night and tired. The rooms were up to standard for...More
Notable issues -- but worse is that the matters were informed to the front desk, to the KY state park survey, and in direct email to the supposed park manager, with not a single acknowledgement from anyone ... this simply underscores their issues further.... avoid...More
My family spent Thanksgiving weekend at one of the resort's 2-bedroom cabins/cottages. It was quiet, cozy, and had an amazing river view. Yes, it was a little dated, but not musty or stuffy. We thought the wood-paneled walls and plaid valance curtains were charming!
The girl at the campground told us we could look for another site as the one we'd choosen online was on a hill. We found a site with sewage hook up. Very nice. We hiked the trails and the colors were brilliant. We didn't see...More
It's a nice campground, the bathhouse was disgusting. Thank God we have our own bathroom. All in all, it wasn't a bad place to go, but when they announced they were turning the water OFF at all of the sites, but would remain open.....

There is no admission to the State Park. I am not sure what the rental rate for canoes etc is at this time. When I was there it was in the dead of winter. They also have a small but challenging golf course, A miniature golf course is in addition provided and there is some good hiking available. Lastly, I think the restaurant is one of the better ones in the State Park system. You can get online and either find the answer to your question or get a phone number for the park. I liked the place.
