I think the last time we stayed at a bed-and-breakfast it was during our honeymoon. That was 20 years ago! We could not have been more delighted with our choice to stay at The Meeting House. Brad and Bridget were so welcoming - in fact they opened the front door before we even knocked! The house is so historic and beautifully appointed. We stayed in the Guinness room, which was perfect and they have a wonderful sitting room upstairs with a huge TV in case you want to watch an NFL playoff game :) Breakfast was cooked to order, and was absolutely delicious. Location is also perfect for walking to the many pubs and restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend staying here!

Brad and Bridget are the most gracious hosts we have encountered in our many travels. The property is charming, the food was plentiful and delicious, and they provided great tips that helped us enjoy exploring the area to the fullest. This place is a real gem, and we hope to come back soon!

Wonderful find! A perfect spot to explore the area. Clean, comfortable, well appointed with what ever you might need or want to make your stay enjoyable. Bridget and Brad couldn’t have been more helpful, welcoming, and wonderful hosts. They are friendly, knowledgeable about the area, and very social, where once you arrive they are more than happy to connect you with the local community to help you enjoy Frankfort and the surrounding area. The morning breakfast is quite a treat and Brad is quite the chef! It’s a wow breakfast and he bends over backwards to accommodate preferences. Honestly, even before I arrived I was made to feel like a welcomed guest, and when leaving like a good friend. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but am glad I stumbled upon the Meeting House (Trip Advisor reviews) and would happily stay there again. It’s a special place. Also I think some of the photos on the Trip Advisor site may be from before Brad and Bridget took over. I thought the space was very tastefully designed and my room was inviting and lovely. I wish I was able to stay a bit longer.

Bourbon chasers will LOVE this Franfort b-n-b to stay at and check off visits to area Bourbon Trail distilleries and experience the best of the historic downtown area. Brad and Bridget are delightful, friendly and knowledgable hosts. The accomodations are quaint, clean, comfortable with outstanding food and "extras." So much better than a hotel stay. We will be back!

Having never stayed in a bed and breakfast we didn't really know what to expect. Brad and Bridget met us at the door as soon as we arrived and made us feel like we were old friends that they were happy to see! The room was very comfortable and they were more than willing to share their "wall of joy." We were there to hit the bourbon trail, but it was nice to taste some we hadn't tried before. Each morning Brad would have a delicious breakfast ready for us which we didn't expect when making the reservation. This is definitely a place I would go back to time and time again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and were sad to only get to enjoy it for one night! Wish we'd had time to stay for a few days. The room was lovely, the owners are the absolute best, and the breakfast was fantastic! We enjoyed visiting with them and other guests in the evening while sipping on some bourbon and wine that was complimentary. The hospitality provided here was like nothing we have ever experienced. Looking forward to returning and spending a few days.

Superbly hosted by Brad and Bridget, the breakfast and was stupendous and filling for a full day of tours and taking in the local scene. The house itself is oozing with history and character and is only a short walk to to the exhibits at the Kentucky Historical Society. It is the perfect place whether you are a couple from one of the surrounding metro areas looking for a romantic weekend or just a loyal follower of the Bourbon Trail. Highly recommend exploring the charming downtown and the Castle and Key distillery tour. Wish I could give them six stars!

We found this jewel while planning out inaugural Bourbon Trail Trip. This place is located near many of the distilleries, Buffalo Trace being int closest. There is ample parking out front and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Brad’s multi-course breakfasts will leave you satisfied & ready to start your day!!! Not even need lunch! The host are very accommodating and very friendly and inviting. There are a number of dinning establishments within a few blocks. It is a great place to start and finish your day! The B n B itself is warm and the architecture is beautiful - from the wood work to the chandeliers in the front room and dinning room, show the labor of love this couple puts into this business! Visit them, you wont regret it!!

This was our first stay at any bed & breakfast and we really didn't know what we were getting into. Brad and Bri put us at ease immediately with directions and a tour of the place. They are the right people to be in this business - warm, relatable, full of local info, and happy to share it. We especially appreciated Brad's breakfast, the historic charm of the building (especially the library!), and the bourbon selection.

Brad and Bridget are wonderful people and great hosts. This BnB is so special, full of history and charm with all the modern comforts of today. The bed and room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were to die for. I’m dairy sensitive, so they went out of their way to accommodate me. And being right in the heart of Frankfort was nice to just go walking around and soak in the history and charm. We can’t wait to come back and seeing how their vision for the place continues. Highly recommend staying here! …. Kelli

Do you have a double room with pvt bath and stall shower?
Answer from Chantal S
4 contributions
I'm not sure what you mean by "double room" . I'm not the proprietor and we did not see every room in the house. It is a B&B. To my recollection, our room had 1 standard bed (queen, I believe), and it did have a private bath that has a stall shower. You'll have to ask the proprietors directly for more information about other rooms or accommodations.

Yes, we stayed in a room with a comfy queen bed and a private bath. In fact, I believe all the guest rooms have private baths, but I'm not sure of the size of the beds in all the rooms.
