OPENING FALL 2024! Nestled in the heart of the Bourbon Trail, The Delegate provides a decidedly off-the-trail-vibe for refined guests: new traditionalism in the bluegrass. The perfect place for a power meeting or a quiet escape, The Delegate offers sophisticated hospitality designed to satisfy the guest needs of today.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
When you think about unique and quality accommodations in Frankfort you must look at The Delegate Hotel. It's different than any other hotel. We absolutely loved the hotel as well as the Cypress and Oak which is the Steakhouse there at the hotel. You will not find a better steak in Frankfort. If you're on a bourbon tour, it's a must because their bar is amazing with bourbons you will not get anywhere else in the city. We are going to make this a regular getaway destination.

This is a gem! The attention to detail was perfect. Nothing missed. Our stay was wonderful. Lux finishes, rich colors and furniture and fixtures, made for a cozy and comfortable overnight. The bed was soft. The pillows were “the just right fluffiness.” Great to have a fridge, coffee, microwave, and comfy couch on the bourbon trail. We stayed in a one bedroom king bed suite, pictures attached. It was perfect. I would add nothing and take nothing away. The restaurant was also amazing and if staying overnight or just in town for a visit, I would not miss Cypress and Oak steakhouse. Great menu and perfect vibe for relaxing and having a few drinks for dinner.

So glad we stayed here. This is one of the nicest and cleanest hotels. Beds are comfortable and luxurious. Pillows are so fluffy. Bathrooms are new and modern. Modern industrial welcoming decor. Easy parking. Best hotel I have stayed in!!!!

We were excited to check out this new hotel as we were passing through Frankfort. The pictures online looked inviting and stylish. However, we were very disappointed by our visit: 1. We were upgraded to a room on the third floor (nice) but the room had the AC running and was at 57 degrees. No one had turned up the heat in the middle of winter. We put the heat on full blast, and when we came back to the room, the temperature had only risen two degrees. 2. While waiting for our room to heat up, we went to the hotel bar in search of a hot tea to warm up. They didn't have many hot tea options, so they offered mulled wine. We asked for one, they have us two, and charged us $15.50 each for some tepid wine from a canister. Way too pricey for what it was. 3. On returning to the room to see if it heated up, it hadn't. We went down to reception to ask for help and the desk rep remained on FaceTime while switching us to the room next door. That room had the exact same problem - 57 degrees, no heat, high ceilings. The heating on the third floor seems majorly flawed because of the high ceilings, weak heating unit placed high, and single pane glass. The saving grace was the maintenance worker, Henry, who walked us back down to reception and helped us get moved to a room on the second floor that warmed up faster. Thank you Henry! Other minor issues: Wifi didn't work, only streaming available on TV but many accounts aren't logged in, no hotel phone to ring front desk.
Some good features: Very comfortable bed, nice shower, potential to be a cool spot but with some very major kinks to work out.

Our stay at the Delegate was absolutely AMAZING. The rooms were very clean, loved the decor and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very FRIENDLY and helpful for all of our requests. It you're visiting Frankfort, KY for a Buffalo Trace tour/visit I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Delegate. It is located approximately 1 mile from Buffalo Trace and is a DELIGHTFUL place to stay. Cypress and Oak restaurant that is located in the hotel is TOP NOTCH with a great menu selection and very REASONABLY PRICED. We have already planned for another visit in late spring and looking forward to it!
