We were traveling through on our way cross country and I had booked Lodging before I left, I only was looking for clean comfortable overnight stay and that is what I got at a reasonable price. I would recommend the owner remove the plants from the inside lobby as they make female guests very uncomfortable at first impression. Second The Lobby smelled of cigarette smoke I think the overnight person is the culprit we got there late, The room was furnished with older furniture and old television but I did not care the bed was made very well and appeared clean and te bathroom though very old in appearance was extremely clean. the breakfast an extra blessing but don't expect a banquet it is pastry and oatmeal the coffee was great. The Wifi provided in the room where I stayed was very weak and useless, I would suggest the owner invest in an inexpensive booster, sometimes the little things can overcome disappointment over the age of accomedations.

The whole hotel was dark and dingy, including our room. It all needs a good overhaul or at LEAST a deep cleaning. There were cigarette burns in the comforter on our bed, stains on the wall and ceilings, and what looked like water damage on the ceiling in our bathroom.
"Breakfast" was in a closet sized nook right next to the front desk and included a pitcher of cheap orange juice and oatmeal packets. I have stayed at a really nice ABVI before and this place makes the chain look bad. If its in your budget I would recommend paying the $20 extra and stay at the Holiday Inn Express down the road or look for the Motel 6 in Lexington.

I didn't want to stay here but my friend chose this place because it was near the buffalo trace distillery where we were going to do a tout. The cost was 55 for single or double. The place is pretty run down and the carpet in the hallway and run were very worn and kind of dirty looking. My room had a very hard bed and I couldn't fall asleep. The room had those very old window air conditioning. There was a a fridge and a microwave. If I had the choice I'd stay i
In the nearby bluegrass in which had he better review, or upgrade more and stay in the best western or holiday in. The best values are actually like 15 miles away in Georgetown which has a lot more hotel accomations with lot better ratings for less money. An example is the availability of motel 6 for the same amount of money, or the comfort suites for 15 more. Both with better reviews. There are some outside mall stores like a few blocks away . Will never come back here
Breakfast includes coffee, oatmeal, some small individually wrappy honey rolls.

Horrible. Filthy. Smells. Staff could not even give directions to hotel. I thought 2 Star would be adequate for one night. Wrong. Disgusting. Worried all night about our safety. 3 cop cars, ambulance in front of hotel in am. Breakfast is non existent joke. We didn't even bother, hotel so filthy. Slept in our clothes. Should be one star, if that. Would never never go there again, even if last hotel in the state of Kentucky.

This place should be condemned! Smells terrible, old window A/C units, snot on the walls, hair in bed, pubic hair all over bathroom, a rod in window for lock, ceiling falling down in bathroom, sheets to small for bed and a TV from the 60's! Never, ever, ever again!!! Will report this place to corporate office!

We stay here every year for our JW conventions. There are several disabled senior ladies that come together and the manager is always helpful, and polite. The rooms have fridge, microwave, coffee pot and hair dryer. The building is older and modest, but clean and fresh rooms and good beds. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is a good deal for your money-especially if you have a free value membership card-$46.00 per night. I recommend it to several people when traveling.

I am very upset with my VERY brief stay!

The lobby smelled of cigarette smoke and the first floor hall carpet was old and buckled so I worried that my husband (in a walking boot) would have a tripping hazard. I walked into my room to find the lights and TV were on and wondered if someone was already checked into this room. My non smoking room had a smoke odor because a smoking room was located just across the hall! The room was furnished with older furniture(i.e. mattress sets were firm and worn out with two very sad excuses for pillows), old television with the picture tube definitely going on it, old window A/C units, also the bathroom was very old in appearance and sparsely supplied. There was a "breathe right" strip stuck to the bedside table and there was sand or something similar in the sheets on the bed, so I question how clean the room really was and was afraid to touch things -- jerm-wise. To say it was noisy is an understatement. I fell asleep about 10:00 PM and was woken up by very noisy upstairs neighbors - it sounded like a wrestling match. I physically went to the front desk at 1:00 AM and there was no one at the desk. I walked back to my room and called at 1:15 AM to complain about the noise and was told they would "take care" of the noise, which stopped for 10 minutes and started back up again! So after 1 hour of sleep, we left the hotel at 1:45 AM and told the desk clerk (who was busy entertaining 2 people inside the plexi- glass area) that it was too noisy and the worse hotel experience to only receive a half hearted "oh, I'm sorry". I am very dissatisfied and feel like this was the biggest waste of money and will never stay at an Americas Best Value Inn ever again!!! NEVER WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL FOR ANYONE!!!

My husband and I took a trip to this area in the hopes to move to the area. We needed a place to stay that allowed pets. This place was horrible. Dirty, hair on sheets, towels and wash clothes were scary to use. The heater really didn't work right and so the room was hot. We couldn't wait to leave. There is one positive aspect, the check in gal was really nice.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us regarding your stay. Let me first apologize for the cleanliness issues in your room. There is simply no excuse for what you experienced and I would like you to know that I have shared your comments with our cleaning staff to ensure that this does not happen again. We are very happy to hear that you found our front desk staff friendly, thank you for mentioning that. We try very hard to provide excellent customer service to everyone. When you visit Franfort again, we would really appreciate if you would give us another chance to prove that what you experienced was an exception and not the rule here at our hotel. Take care.

Had never stayed here before, booked three nights online, and showed up. Room was clean, comfortable and hit the price point I needed to make this vacation a reality. We had plans to do all sorts of things in Kentucky, and just needed a place to sleep, no frills. That is exactly what we got! Bhikhu and his staff were very nice. There were plenty of places to eat and shopping nearby. Liked it so much, ended up staying two more nights on our return trip. I highly recommend this hotel.

room was dirty, bathroom shower dirty, corkscrew found in floor from previous tenants. cigarette burn holes all over blankets. pee stains on the sheets. crack in door leading out into the hallway wide enough to see out into the hallway. window lock was a piece of wood. alarm clock didn't work, remote batteries dead to TV remote. battery in key door didn't work so couldn't go in or out without getting someone from the desk to reopen door. and to beat lady from desk was hateful that she had to open door. she even cursed. funny smell in the hotel. I do not recommend this place to anyone.
