This is a run down motel run by an India enterprise. The room was dirty, no soap, no towels left, no place to hang your clothes except on the shower curtain, noisy, no hot water, luke warm, and to make it worse, some of my garments were taken. When I reported it the agent told me that the maid couldn't...

The room was clean and service was friendly for the price I paid. This was our first time in the area and took a chance. The property is old but kept up well and looks like they are doing some work to the place!

We stayed one night at the Oak Tree Inn on our way to Ohio. My husband booked our room before I had a chance to check the reviews here on Trip Advisor. I was nervous about staying here after seeing some of the reviews saying how dirty the rooms were and the one about a mouse in the room. Luckily...

This place is the worst. Do not stay here even if you have to travel to Richmond. Stayed one night and it was enough. Opened the door to the room and the floor had not been cleaned. A field mouse ran across the room as we stepped in. We could not capture the mouse so hoped he would stay quiet...

Threadbare and stained towels, dust everywhere, torn bedspreads, dirty stained carpet. Had reservations for several nights but left after one night. I wouldn't have stayed even one night but was exhausted from long travel. A complete renovation is needed here.

Downsides: Not enough toilet paper, stained towels, the outlets can't handle a standard hair dryer, coffee maker in our room didn't work, microwave in a friends room didn't work. It was pretty noisy at night. Upsides: Close to downtown, convenient to fast food and Rite Aid up the street. Great food across the street.

We travel 20+ weekends a year, this is by far the absolute worst motel we have ever stayed in. Very unfriendly staff, fitness room closed months ago (per owner) but still listed on website and other listing sites. One ironing board for entire motel, which we never got in our 3 days. I stay at the Oak Tree whenever I'm in the Irvine area which is between 2 - 5 times a year. This older motel has seen good days and bad days (generally about the time the reviews below were made), but is making a comeback. When I was there in both July '10 and then again in October '10, it...

When discovering at the last minute my brother was racing in the Mopar Southern Classic in Clay City, Ky; I began trying on a Friday evening to get a reservation for Saturday night. After reading a couple of reviews about Oak Tree, I naturally tried every other place I could find in that area but everything was booked. Reluctantly, I...

This is not the place to stay if you're looking for concierge service. It is simple and clean. Good but not exceptional rooms. Good family restaurant across the street and lots of nearby fast food. A waypoint, not a destination.
