Paul's is NOT a 5 star hotel. It is run by a senior couple who struggle to get everything done that needs to be done. On the night of my arrival, it was very cold. No heat in the room and none when I turned the heater on. Turns out, a breaker had been thrown. It took about 30 minutes...

Paul's was clean and comfortable! So much better than we expected. The staff works hard to keep this old little hotel nice and comfortable. The pizza place across the street has affordable and very good food and service and it also owned by Paul.

Pauls is one of the most endearing places I've visited. Freeman, the owner, will talk with you, introduce his cats and offer you friendship. The rooms are older but clean with homemade quilts. Chairs outside the door invite you to sit a spell & get to know your fellow travelers. In a hectic world this is a magical place. There...

I was apprehensive to stay here because I am not a motel kind of traveler. This place is a throw back to what traveling must have been before all the super chains opened. A man and his wife who have been running the place for 60 years. Cutest little man ever. Very sweet and friendly. I believe someone mentioned cats...

We used to stay here every year. Its an older hotel with a lot of out dated stuff but its atmosphere is totally worth everything. Freeman is a great guy, so adorable. He will try and help you with any questions. I am not sure how he does what he does. Nice little place to lay your head. If you...

This is a delightful little place. It is a throw back to a kinder time. The proprietor come out and talks about his days in mining. They run a pizza place right across the street. Our room had two doubles and an extra bed, no extra cost. And a refrigerator and microwave.

We stayed here on a whim...by far the quaintest best priced room we had on our vacation. The owner was extremely friendly & very helpful. The rooms are hand decorated and very clean. They give you that home away from home feeling. The restaurant across the street has some incredibly good food. Pauls Motel is the perfect example of down...

We visited family in Jackson and stayed at Paul's motel as usual. It's had some renovation over the year. The room 218 was large and welcoming, the bathroom huge and spotless. The owner as usual was accommodating and friendly. This is a great place that has gotten even better!

Pauls is a quaint, simple motel; nothing fancy, but a good deal for the money. Jackson is beautiful for a motorcycle ride. There are lots of roads around town with twisties and challenges. Cagers will enjoy it as well.

For those that have never been to Jackson – it is a small town surrounded by natural beauty, full of friendly people, but in an area that has seen more than its share of hard economic times and has few lodging choices. I chose Paul’s upon the recommendation of the organization with which I was visiting. I was informed prior...
