We chose to stay at Lyndon House due to its proximity to Rupp Arena and loved it because of its "Old Lexington" vibe. Situated among other stately homes along North Broadway, it's easy to picture this lovely home as it was a century ago. It's been modernized to include all amenities one could want. The room was quiet, the bed...

We stayed at this lovingly restored southern belle on New Years Eve,which I found through a google search. The home is absolutley beautiful and the amenities are top notch. It is evident that the restoration of this fine, historic gem has been a work of love for Anton. Anton is a perfect host and his breakfast w/ the frittata was amazing!...

The wife and I decided to spend a couple days in Lexington between Christmas and New Year so I booked us into this Bed & Breakfast. Wow, what a pleasant surprise, this place is awesome! The home has been beautifully restored with tons of cherry wood and 11 foot ceilings throughout. As for our host, Anton is a professional on...

We stayed here the weekend 11/4/2016 to celebrate ours and another couples anniversary. Overall is was a great B&B. Location was close to town for walking old neighborhoods and short drive to good restaurants. We were on 3rd floor room, The Eaves. Great having an elevator for transporting luggage to the room. Room was very hot (average temp outside 40...

Hi Sandy, I appreciate your feedback. I also live on the third floor and managing the heat in November can be challenging - the functioning windows and ceiling fans help. Again, happy anniversary and we hope to see you again! Anton, Innkeeper

Stayed here one night with the wife to get away. We are from Cincinnati. Very clean, remodeled and lovely bed & breakfast. Short walk to downtown and nightlife. I understand the limitations in Lexington but some light snacks or drinks in early evening would have been nice. Overall we really enjoyed the place and we would come back here again....

Hi Rob, thanks for taking time to write a review. I enjoyed talking with you and your wife. I especially enjoyed your story about Kroger (a great place to work). It was nice having you stay with us and we wish you the best in your future travels. Anton, Innkeeper

To be fair, our stay was pleasant, the property maintained well with nothing horrifically wrong. Collectively, small things tell a different story. When we arrived, our host was nowhere to be found, nor was he available the rest of our three day stay except at breakfast. I requested champagne and a flower arrangement to be in the room. It was,...

Thank you for taking time to write a review, we value your input. The first night when you called to inform us that you were running late, I said I would set out instructions to your room and keys at the desk. Because the Lyndon House is a small property, we only man the service desk between 3 - 6...

The property has been restored with great attention to detail and is comfortable, convenient and pleasant. It's a B&B in an old house that has a modern elevator. The deck and small backyard or the large public areas are great for relaxing. Short distance to downtown and the university. Breakfast was outstanding. Anton was willing to change the normal scheduling...

I decided to take a spur of the moment trip to Lexington to get away. The Lyndon House did not disappoint! This B&B is very clean and welcoming. My room was very beautiful with lots of natural light. The bed was a dream and the onsuite bathroom was an added bonus. The host was very nice and made sure I...

Thank you for writing a great review. One of the biggest challenges in running a B&B in downtown is the “Urban-Vibe.” Sometimes it’s a motorcycle, a siren or an enthusiastic sport fan. And it can be irritating when it comes in the middle of the night. We are in the process of addressing the noise issue by installing acoustic/black-out curtains...

Our host was very knowledgeable about the area and specifically about the University which we visited. And the breakfast was devine. The location is also ideal as it's very near to downtown and the universities.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us while you visited Transylvania University. I hope your tours of the other schools goes as well as it did at TU.

House is beautiful and the rooms are well furnished. At the price for this B&B the breakfast was nothing to get excited about. Also booked two rooms for the night and did not realize there was not a bathroom in one of the rooms.

Thank you for choosing to stay with us while visiting Lexington. I’m sorry you were disappointed with your breakfast, even though I offered you several suggestions, I thought you were good with the daily special.
