You have to come to this place. Yes I was a Mcleods Daughter fan but you don't have to be. This is an amazing place with years and years of history. Cassie and Kyran are amazing hosts/managers of Kingsford, their happy and helpful nature make you feel at home. Nothing is trouble for them. I highly recommend this place. Worth...

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at Kingsford in March. Kieran and Cassie were superlative hosts who made sure our visit was enjoyable and that we were well-looked after. I do echo a few of the travelers below that it's not an ideal place if you are looking for a full-service property and/or are traveling individually. A taxi to...

The only reason to stay here is if McLeod's Daughters means something to you. It didn't for us. When we booked our stay, the property included dinner -- and it would have been very pleasant to not go anywhere after dark. And we would have been content to pay a premium for that! However, the caterer had pulled out and...

A truly wonderful place to stay and relax! The homestead felt like home and we felt very welcome and comfortable by Cassie and Kyran! They will sort it all out for you, tour bookings, dinners and recommendations! The restoration is amazing a credit to the owners! A real dream come true for a McLeods Daughters fan! We will definitely be...

Staff, service, comfort scenery all first class. Cassie and Kyren were wonderful hosts and couldn't have been more eager to please. Our only wish was perhaps for a full home cooked breakfast. They have an exceptional wine cellar and all the wines can be purchased.

The pictures just dont do this place justice, if you are looking for something thats out of the box, the this is the one for you. Set back from the road nestled into the hillside you can almost hear the silence.

It's in a dry bare location just off the freeway unlike the rest of the picturesque Barossa. Unfortunately if you're going in late spring or early summer, expect a lot of pesky sticky bush flies due to nearby cattle. The building is nice but the interior finishings are not fitting and few period touches. The 'full breakfast' was a bunch...

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your taking the time to offer valuable feedback. It would be great if you could please advise where fully cooked breakfast was included as regional continental breakfasts are offered with all Bed & Breakfast bookings. A fully cooked breakfast is included in exclusive use bookings where the entire homestead is booked for a...

What a disappointment!! Given the reviews of others, and the price, I was expecting something fit for the gods. Not the case. Just an average B&B in a heritage building. Rooms were large and comfortable but with minimal wall hangings and a lack of expected luxury or heritage fixtures. The bed linen was coarse fabric without a top sheet. The...

From the moment we arrived until we left, nothing was too much trouble. We thoroughly enjoyed the views from our bathroom and balcony from the Stephen King suite. The food was beautifully presented and tasted sublime. I cannot express what a lovely stay we had. The picnic a must and went beyond our expectations. Kathy and Kieran made it rememberable....

What a fantastic homestead! We stayed here for our 37th wedding anniversary and from the moment we entered the front gate and drove down the long driveway towards the homestead, we knew this would be a memorable stay. On arrival Kathy made us feel very welcome, and her knowledge and care of the guests is fantastic. The homestead and the...

We additionally offer an Exclusive Use package - all-inclusive food, wine and accommodation (14 guests). Located on the edge of the iconic Barossa Valley in South Australia, the picturesque 225 acre property is nestled amongst rolling hills on the banks of the North Para River. Just 45 minutes from Adelaide and yet you feel a million miles away. Sit under the veranda of the heritage homestead 'circa 1856' and enjoy outstanding wines handmade in the Barossa. Famous wineries such as Peter Lehmann, Yalumba, Rockford, Hentley Farm and Penfolds are a short drive from the property (10-15 minutes). Indulge yourself and experience one of the world's most beautiful award-winning al fresco baths, set in a secluded corner of the property. Take a picnic on the river. Take a balloon flight over the vines. Take your time. Gather beside a roaring fire and raise a ruby Shiraz to a diamond night sky. In summer, plunge into our opulent resort style swimming pool. Kingsford Homestead can accommodate up to fourteen guests in seven luxurious and individually decorated suites. It has been the home to a wealthy nineteenth-century pastoralist.
