Nice hotel with spacious rooms but, expect to pay $40-$50 above the rate in fees and taxes. Hotel has a bar and small restaurant with limited menu. They also offer two free drinks daily from 5-6:30pm. The room was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The two-room setup was great as it allowed me to close the bedroom door and be able to watch tv in the living room area without disturbing my wife. The bar service and drinks were as expected. However, the restaurant service and food quality was sub-par and definitely needs improvement. We ordered a simple cheeseburger with fries and a chicken caesar salad. The burger was almost burnt and the salad had only a small piece of chicken and way too many croutons. And to make it worse, it took over an hour to get our food. The cost…$45…the price we paid for trying to support the hotel business and not wanting to use a delivery service or drive back out at night to get food. I can only assume the cook had no idea of what they were doing. The included buffet-style breakfast was as expected. I will assume the restaurant staff was short on personnel or lazy as the tables were all dirty. We took our food back to the room to eat. Nevertheless, I would stay here again but would never recommend using the restaurant.

Was there to visit with family and to see my brother. The room was nice and spacious is just what we needed and was very clean. The breakfast was nice although the guy did not understand English and messed up our order once or twice. But otherwise it was good food.

Just stopping overnight for a quick stay so my requirements were minimal: bedroom with a door, clean, quiet. They really delivered and then some. The hotel is modern and clean. Our room was stylish and had a heavy duty door between the living area and bedroom, plus they had the hvac right between the bedroom and the living area! Genius! What really threw me for a loop was the quality of the breakfast. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've had. Granted, if it's not included, I generally opt to eat somewhere else. This place has an omlette station, and even the buffet selections were super fresh and hot. It could just be busy enough that the turnover was fast, but I was really impressed. Definitely would return next time I'm traveling through that area!

I stayed with my daughter and her husband. I chose an Embassy Suites so that we could sleep in separate rooms. My daughter and her husband arrived the night before I did and we booked 3 nights. When I began to settle in, I looked around for pillows for the sofa bed. My daughter explained that she had requested extra pillows before I arrived. She was told that they had no extra pillows but they could give her extra blankets so she took two extra blankets. I assumed that they had misunderstood thinking that she just wanted extra pillows so I went to the front desk to explain that there were no pillows for the sofa bed. I was also told that there were no pillows available. The front desk attendant also told me that they didn't have any pillows because HIlton Diamond members come in and request 6 extra pillows and that they have to give pillows to them or they will write a bad review. I am also a Hilton Honors member but not a Diamond Status member. She said that she would put a note that as soon as a room was cleaned the next morning, they would them bring pillows to our room. There were three pillows on the king size bed and I used one of those but I feel that pillows should be available for all of the beds in the room. The next day, no pillows arrived at our room but I did not go to the front desk a third time.

The hotel decor was a little worn but my daughter said that the hotel is scheduled to undergo renovations later this year. The breakfast was fine and I enjoyed the made to-order eggs in addition to the standard hotel breakfast buffet. There was plenty of parking and I was able to park out front each time I left and returned.

I would stay there again but hope that the pillow shortage will soon be resolved.

We were disappointed in our stay at Embassy Suites East Louisville. First, the beds did not nearly meet our expectations for a hotel at this price point. The king bed sunk badly in the middle and was so hard it was painful to sleep on our sides. We had made it clear when we booked that there would be four of us in the room and we would also be using the sofa sleeper, yet they didn’t leave any blankets for us. When we checked at the front desk, they were “out”. Friends of ours were experiencing the same issue and one of them slept under a towel to cover up. Speaking of which, there was also a towel shortage. The hotel was sold out and there were lots of sports teams there, but still, there is no reason for a hotel to ever run out of clean towels. Even though there were four of us in the room, they would only give us 3 towels at a time. We stayed four nights and had a total of 6 towels for 4 people. As far as the cleanliness of the room was concerned, the bathroom was clean. In the living room space there was candy on the floor and the mesh desk chair seemed to have smashed, bright colored icing in it. The hotel common areas were fine and allowed for room to spread out and relax over the course of 4 nights/5 days. We are not at all a high-maintenance family of travelers, but this experience simply didn’t meet our expectations. I felt badly for the front desk folks as they seemed understaffed, stressed, and were simply the messengers of bad news “not enough towels”, “no blankets”, “sold out, can’t switch to a cleaner room”. The location is great and there are other hotels in the area that look quite nice and get rave reviews. Start there. This one is simply overpriced for what it is.

Dear Jennifer, I am so sorry to learn of your disappointing stay with us. While I am happy to know you found the bathroom to be clean and enjoyed the hotel's common areas, I am sorry that we were not able to readily offer some of the supplies you had requested. Certainly not what we are striving for and I am sorry it was your experience. I do hope you will allow us to regain your trust on a future visit to Louisville.

Stayed at the Embassy Suites East in Louisville from November 9-12, 2023.

The stay was booked in advance so as to lock in a price that was less than booking day off arrival. Have stayed here numerous times without issue, but this time has ended my stay here.

After checking in my boyfriend was told the hotel was going under renovations. The whole 6th floor is blocked off. For the first two days you could barely watch tv or hear anything when outside our room due to jackhammering and hammering. The bed in our room was covered in flakes off the ceiling so housekeeping had to come vacuum our carpet and change bedding in the middle of the day.

Saturday evening of our stay was filled with 20-25 kids running laps around each floor and screaming at the top of their Lungs to which management did nothing to stop.

Sunday the water was turned off for “routine maintenance” which I have NEVER had happen at any hotel in my life. After being gone for hours I returned to take a bath to find no hot water.

They did offer complimentary ear plugs and a Hershey bar though which clearly made everything better!

Upon arrival, I was thrown off a bit by the amount of construction being done in the atrium. A heads up email would have been great, but it was contained well, workers didn't start early in the am & they contained the construction mess really well. I always digital check in & digital key, but because I was arriving early, I wanted to confirm my room was ready early. I called & talked to the front desk who confirmed my room was good to go & I could absolutely check in early. I went straight up to my room upon arrival. When I opened the door with my digital key, I was SHOCKED to find personal items on the coffee table & a man standing at the kitchenette bar putting a face mask on. As a woman, this was incredibly alarming. I immediately closed the door & went down to the front desk. I reauested a manager, explained what happened, she looked up my room in their system & said "Oh, I forgot I had maintenance scheduled for this room. There's an issue with the bar sink that maintenance is working on." 🤦‍♀️ Relief that it was an employee helped, but that unsettled feeling took a bit to shake off. The room was great though. Clean. Spacious. Comfortable. Would have loved to see a smart TV so I could stream Netflix though. Breakfast was good as usual for an Embassy Suites. Kudos for the unconventional set up due to construction! The chef made it work & all with a smile! I grabbed Breakfast early & then decided I had time to squeeze in a couple more hours of sleep before having to get ready & check out. Housekeeping knocked on my door no less than 3 times during those 2 hrs(between 8am-10am). Check out is at Noon. There was no reason to continually bother guests. Since I was sleeping, I did not answer the door, but did hear the knocking. On one knock event, I did hear the door engage & open. Thankfully I had the door block latch open & they couldn't actually come in. Again, as a woman alone, this was INCREDIBLY alarming. If you're a woman traveling alone, I would NOT recommend this hotel. There were far too many security concerns for me to return on my own again. My only peace of mind was my boyfriend arriving a few hours after me & staying through breakfast. Otherwise, I'm not so sure I would have slept well.

Stayed for 1 night on way to youth baseball tournament in Tennesse. Booked the Embassy Suites based on previous experience with the chain. The room was comfortable and clean but in need of a refresh. Carpet was worn, drapes frayed on edges and lighting not very good. Showerhead in bathtub/shower, spray was bad as well. Hotel is located in a corporate office complex that seemed to have many vacancies and was hard to find without a mapping app. The biggest disappointments were the manager's reception the evening we arrived and the breakfast the following morning. The reception only lasted 1 &1/2 hours and there was constantly a long line with only 1 bartender serving drinks, felt sorry for her. At breakfast the following morning, it was impossible to find a clean table to eat at, 4 or 5 employees working in restaurant area but nobody wiping tables after use by other guests. Sad service experience when the guest has to clean the table before eating!

$80 expectations for $260

Beds seemed clean but rented this room so we would have privacy and was going to use the sofa bed for the kids but the couch was gross and stained and there was trash underneath. So they had to use one of the beds
Room smelled like mildew when we woke up and the kids were coughing and sneezing
toilet would hardly flush,
Swimming pool was slimy and nasty and smelled very strongly of chlorine.
Breakfast cooks were grumpy and understaffed so we didn’t order anything.
Worst Embassy suites I’ve ever been in.
Very disappointed.

I’d say they were probably just understaffed and trying to do more with less.
Should’ve been half the price at least.

We tried to stay here May 11, 2024. The lobby is currently under major construction. When we walked in, they were jackhammering something so loudly that the employee had to resort to passing me notes across the counter because it was too loud to hear someone one foot in front of you. The entire lobby and air was covered with concrete dust and the pool was also closed for renovation. We literally laughed as we canceled our reservation and went elsewhere. Although the employees seemed nice enough, this hotel has no business being open during such a significant reconstruction. They were literally handing out disposable earplugs to anyone who wasn’t immediately walking back out. Ridiculous!
