Stayed there late last year with two work colleagues for 3 nights whilst working In Oxford. Gilly is so genuine warm and friendly and made us all feel most welcome. Gidleigh House Is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast Is delicious and plentiful. I(we) work all over the UK 12 months a year, and we all felt that our stay...

Had a wonderful stay with Gilly at Gidleigh, the room was excellent as were the biscuits and chocs. Breakfast superb, local knowledge and ideas were also excellent. Can not fault it in any way. Probably should have stayed longer than three nights!

I stayed here for one night with my hubby when attending a wedding in Wheatley. It is easy to find and there is off road parking and the house is very large. Gilly is such a wonderful and thoughtful host and very friendly and welcoming. As the house is big you do not feel cramped or like you're intruding. Our...

A fantastic bed and breakfast close to Oxford. Gilly is a fabulous landlady, and nothing is too much trouble. We spent 4 days and really enjoyed our stay, it was home from home. It is very close to a bus stop and we were able to get a bus into Oxford easily without having to use a park and ride....

I stayed here for a week on my own to be near to work. What a lovely place. The actual place was really nice, clean and tidy and very obviously well looked after. Not super modern but we'll maintained and definitely recently decorated etc. The staff/owner was so wonderfully pleasant, happy to help and chat and really welcoming. Breakfast was...

I stayed at Gill's place for a week plus, and my stay was worth every money spent. She is a very lovely and welcoming lady. Paps attention to details. There was nothing different between staying at an hotel and staying at Gill's place. I would recommend this place if you are to visit Oxford Brookes University wheatley campus, which is...

Had a 3 night stay here and found Gilly to be so friendly and helpful from the time we arrived, until we left. Could not ask for more from the room, clean and welcoming. Lovely breakfast each morning and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely recommend and will stay here again if ever we are in the area!

Our second visit - and no wonder! Gilly makes guests welcome from the moment the car draws up on the drive. She is friendly and easy to chat with, plus a good source for local information. Everything about the bedroom is quality nad there are lots of little touches that set a stay here apart. Breakfast here is a total...

Stayed at Gidleigh House 4-7 March. Gill, the owner, is caring and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent and quality of the rooms first class. This is easily the best bed and breakfast my wife and I have stayed in and definitely worth the praise that other reviewers have given Gill and Gidleigh House. Gerald & Sybil Robinson
