Rooms are very clean with great views of the woods. This time of year it was very quiet. A lot of hiking available...unfortunately the golf course is closed, there is no activity center and only an outdoor pool. Friendly hotel staff

My wife and I walked one of trails that “looped” around the entire park with our dog. The trail was well maintained and had good markers. The “waterfalls” and natural “rock bridges” is worth a hike.

We lost our only key to our vehicle at the park but we’re able to get a locksmit

We found our lodge room to be clean and in good order and had a enjoyable stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Considering age of the facility, it was in very good condition. That said there are some suggestions. These problems we find in a majority of the places we stay (

Are tents restricted to the primitive area or can you book an electric site?
I don't have a problem with a tent using an electric site as long as you realize you pay the regular price and not primitive prices.

Is there an indoor pool?
We do not have an indoor pool. The only parks in the park system that does are lake Cumberland and Lake Barkley.

Do you have handicap rooms?
We have rooms and a cottage classified as handicap accessible. However, they do not have the roll in showers.
