We enjoyed our one night here, prior to visiting the Creation Museum. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Our room was cozy and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at this lovely B&B on a horse farm. It is such a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay, made very comfortable by Jen. Her breakfasts were fabulous, healthy, unique, and delicious! The downstairs room was very comfortable, and we enjoyed feeling at home in the common areas. We didn't do a horseback...

Wonderful hospitality, nice room, awesome breakfast. Jen was excellent at teaching me & my two girls (ages 8 &15) how to properly ride our horses. The ride was excellent. Enjoyed all the cats & dog! Definitely need to return.

Thanks so much. Such fun to ride with people who care about horses and want to learn more about them. They can teach us so much if we just listen!

We arrived late in the afternoon on a Friday, at our scheduled time. Jen, the innkeeper is very accommodating of travelers' schedules and met us shortly after our arrival at the property. We were given a tour of the house and asked our preferences for breakfast. Jen offered suggestions for evening activities and had excellent restaurant suggestions. We enjoyed our...

I wanted to find a neat quite place in Kentucky. I googled B & Bs near Petersburg. I found this awesome place. Wow! It really made my vacation experience great! The staff were very friendly and hospitality was really phenomenal. The beautiful farm setting, with the horses, cats and dogs were really a cool experience.

Thanks so much Marion! We have a great time with our guests. Particularly, women traveling alone who are open to new experiences have ended up going with us to lots of fun events and activities, in addition to helping with farm stuff and hang out with the critters. Since we're so small, if you let us know that you're interested...

Thank you Jen and family for hosting me and my daughters for a one night visit. The highlight was the time we spent with the horses. Jen is very knowledgeable in teaching the basics for those who have not ridden much. We felt very comfortable and safe in the level of riding we did (although a bit saddle sore). As...

Sorry the Treetops room was booked by the time you made your reservation. Glad you were flexible to crowd into the 1870s room. Hope you can stay longer next time!

If you enjoy a quiet, comfortable country setting that is also close to city of Cincinatti, this is it. Jen is a wonderful host who can offer many insider tips to cultural activities and restaurants downtown as well as in the smaller towns in the area. I only regret not having time to go horseback riding. It seems like that...

Thanks so much Terry. You are the kind of people we are in business to offer the farm stay experience for! It's nice that you recognize the extra value that comes in staying at a bed and breakfast rather than a hotel in the inner city. Looking forward to your next visit,

My family stayed at First Farm Inn April 2015 while attending the Rolex Kentucky horse show. I lived in the area many years ago and wanted to share the beautiful countryside with my husband and daughter. First Farm Inn is on a tiny country road situated in lovely surroundings with a gorgeous old barn with a dry stacked stone foundation...

This is my first somewhat negative review. I'm almost hesitant to share my experience, but I'm hopeful that the sweet owners of this farmhouse B&B will see this as constructive criticism. First of all Jen is the sweetest lady, and she is a very good cook. I'm not talking about your average bacon and eggs either... The breakfasts we enjoyed...

Perfect location if you are visiting the Creation Museum. The breakfasts were superb and we had the good fortune to be compatible with another couple staying at the B&B. We love animals, especially cats so we were in animal heaven while we missed our own. I would caution against bringing young children or expecting a party atmosphere. There is an...

Like many of our guests, Irv & Sharon enjoyed the couple they met here so much that they exchanged information to stay in contact. Because we are a unique establishment, we usually attract people who share our interest in the outdoors, animals and the environment. We have a great time getting acquainted and visiting. When guests arrive, we show them...

“I moved to the Ashley Extended Stay. The Ashley Extended Stay is immaculate and quiet. It has a full kitchen, great linens, DVD library, home baked cookies, fresh fruit, great coffee, hot chocolate, pop corn, full Internet and cable TV service, breakfast each morning and cocktails and appetizers at night. The front desk people are most hospitable. Riding horses can be done almost anywhere in that area.”
