The grounds and room were nice. However, after we tried to turn on the TV we discovered it didn't work. To their credit, they gave us a credit and offered to switch us. I was under the impression there would be WiFi in the cabins - there is NOT. When I checked out, the clerk was unfriendly. The WiFi in... More

Unfortunately, we never got a chance to experience the lodging at this state park. My husband & I (from Michigan) had made reservations for two nights, but upon our arrival (on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm) we were told they were closed. In their defense, there had been a bad storm the night before which caused some damage and power... More

We were there in late Jan, right after the big snow storm. It's absolutely breath taking, beautiful sunsets. Rustic cabin was romantic, and cozy. Great gas fire place also. I would love to come back to Ky., and will stay here again.

I stayed in the Lodge, Room 249. Yes, the view is great, but your are in the Appalachians, so that's a given. The Lodge, Dining Room, and parking area are NOT accommodating to disabled people. The rooms are nearly-impossible to get to if you cannot walk well. ROCK stairs everywhere, and only one ramp and that is far away from... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review about our establishment. I'm sorry that you had such a bad experience. I would like to address some of your issues. First, I didn't receive an email from you regarding your complaint or I would have responded. It could be that it went to the survey monkey but that doesn't... More

While a bit of maintenance may be needed, overall the 2 BR cabin was very clean with nice beds and very good dishes and glasses. The kitchen appliances were like new. The small deck could use some cleaning but given it's right in the woods it was acceptable. The desk staff seemed preoccupied with a financial problem (missing money) so... More

The views are amazing and the park is so peaceful and safe. The cottages are great for hosting family vacations. They are clean, comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Be sure to hike to the chained rock.

We stayed in the lodge and were very comfortable and happy with our accommodations. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, clean and pleasant. The room included flat screen television and ironing board. They do have a restaurant on site, so you can purchase breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is no complimentary breakfast and McDonald's is about 30 minutes away, so... More

Easy to get to via Rte 25e which is 4-lane until the park entrance. Wonderful vistas. Close to Cumberland Gap Overlook. Restaurant had a wide choice and was very good. In particular I liked the Kentucky Hot Brown. Kentucky state parks now serve alcohol, which is a positive. Rooms were recently refurbished. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Lots of space. Balcony... Just returned from Pine Mountain and surrounding area. What a find! The resort is a fine blend of historic and modern. Breakfast in the restaurant is outstanding. Fresh made biscuits each morning. I had the country ham platter two days in a row and loved it. Dinner choices could be improved by substituting trout or salmon for catfish.
