So,so,sad... The buffet used to be wonderful. The food I ate tonight was not fit for a pig. The service was slow but passable. Maybe they were just understaffed. We waited 15 min at the cash register to pay but, nobody showed up. Finally, just left money there.

We spent 5 days at Jenny Wiley state resort. We had a 2 bedroom cottage which was not super clean and was very smelly at our entrance. We cut the AC and it was better. Il was nice to be in our own cottage with our dog. You can have access to the pool and it was enjoyable in the...

Jenny Wiley State Resort is close to where my sister lives so we have stayed here several times. We always ask for a room that is located just to the right of the entrance so that we can walk out the back door and you are then only a few steps to the water's edge. We have enjoyed the food...

We stayed at the lodge for one night and booked the Elk Tour package. The lodge looks run down but the interior was nice. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our balcony overlooked the lake and it was peaceful and quiet. It was nice to wake up and be able to drink my coffee on the balcony, watching the birds....

Have stayed at this state park several times. This time we stayed one night doing a short trip to eastern KY. Reservations and checking were quick and easy. Like most KY state park lodges, the design is from the 60's. The room was very clean, had hot water with good pressure. 60 TV channels. Good mattress. Had replaced carpet with...

It is older, nothing really fancy. It was clean and we loved the balcony. A small deer walked right by one morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are nature lovers and this is our type of place. The lake is really pretty. It was very quiet and peaceful. I am not sure that would be true in the...

They have a large ugly thing in the middle of the breezeway, takes up so much room, not enough room to sit and visit like we used to be able to do. The back stairs down to the patio are in disrepair - the patio is dirty looking, needs a good power wash. Their buffet was not very good, they...

Me and my wife have been going to Jenny Wiley State Park for at least 10 years now. me and my wife have been going to jenny wiley state park for at least 10 years now. It has always been a farm place, swimming in the lake, running a pontoon boat, walking the trails. But our past visit we got...

We stayed here at one of the cottages. The cottage was very nice, with two bedrooms and a screened-in porch. We liked the pool and the hiking trails. Hiking here is difficult, because everything is seriously up or down hill, so be prepared. The elevation is not high, but it is challenging nonetheless. We had a few issues with the...

Went on mystery bus trip to Prestonsburg and stayed here. Was nice and the restaurant served very good food. The food could have been a little hotter, but still tasted good. Would stay here again if in the area.
