we enjoyed the room we had, we were very well settled with all the necessary comfort. Breakfast was excellent with homemade jams, homemade juice and homemade rolls. The charming owners had told us where we could dine without going miles. Really a good time at Vinça.

We spent one night here over the weekend. Lovely spacious room in this beautiful old French house. And with tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast included home made cakes and fresh apple juice. Vincent was very welcoming and suggested a couple of nearby restaurants for our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this chambre d'hote and visit again if we are in the area.

Great hosts - made us feel right at home - we had two rooms booked great value for money - rooms were big fully equipped with all the necessary - and lovely home made jam and brioche and peach juice for breakfast. We would definitely go back again to re-visit.

Gilbert and Rosaline were the most perfect of hosts and welcomed us to their beautiful home after we'd had a very long drive from Tuscany heading into Andorra. This was a chance find and it could not have been better....we stumbled across a real gem! The room was stunning and had a very homely feel. Our charming hosts sat with us over breakfast which tested my French to the limit but we laughed at mistakes and chatted amiably! The best of breakfasts was taken....peach juice, raspberry tarts, peach, strawberry and fig jams (all homemade and from their own garden!), homemade breads, croissant and lovely coffee, all taken on the elevated terrace with wonderful flowers all around and views of the town and mountains beyond. This is a place that needs revisiting, it's lovely!

My girlfriend and I, with her little daugther had really a lovely one night stay in this extrememy nice large and wonderfully refurbished Catalan house, made even nicer by the charming, kind and interesting hosts, Rosaline and Gilbert. First the location is perfect, in the centre of the small pleasent village of Vinca.Close to natural and historical~cultural amenities {Massif du Canigou; Orges of Ille sur Tete, Villefranche du Conflent, only to mention what we were after in our short 2days trip from Toulouse]. For children, and to chill out in the hot weather; there is nearby a nice swimming lake with even a small lido beach only 5 minutes by walk. Secondly the house and the room have been refubished over years of work not only at high standards, but with exquisite charme and taste, with chosen and appropriate attention to every little detail, our room was in traditional Catalan style, with I should say an artistic twist. We slept wonderfully and the breakfast on the terrace, full of flowers, was outstanding. Freshly home~baked brioche and pastry cakes, home made juice and jams from their garden, plus the discrete and interesting company and conversation with Rosaline and Gilbert. That place; like all the beauties of the area, really had a soul, and we would love to go back. Excellent value for money.

My family only had a one night stay but all of us enjoyed the experience. Our hosts were very hospitable giving me opportunity to improve my French, my wife to top up hers and my 4 year old to practice his first French words. There is a lake close by with a beach which is sheltered from any wind and has plenty of shade if needed. Eating breakfast from a raised terrace with the town and mountains in the background was impressive and we saw a beautiful sunset from our apartment on the second floor.

We were only one night and we liked it very much. It is a beautiful house in a little village very quiet. As a place to rest some days or visiting the area or just in the way to another destination, it is worth to choose this lodging. The bedroom was big, comfortable and clean and the breakfast, served on the balcony if the weather is good, was excellent. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and they helped us in all we need and gave us much information about the area.

"We had the second floor apartment which meant the family slept in one room, but the views were fantastic. There was almost nothing in the room that was in reach of my 18 month old child."
