We loved our camping experience in Oct. The campground is pristine and owned by 2 wonderful people. They are friendly, helpful and take pristine care of the campground. The serenity of hearing the waterfall all day long is not found anywhere else. The campground is located close to a lot of attractions. Will return again. Thank you for sharing your...

We drove down a winding, narrow road for several miles wondering what we would find at the end .... Hoping it would be worth it! What a beautiful hidden treasure we found at the edge of the Kentucky River! The proprietors welcomed us with enthusiasm and made us feel as though we could call upon them for any need we...

Not pet friendly at all! Sites are very narrow and curved so there is no way to keep a big fifth wheel out of the grass! Very un level! Bring lots of blocking for front landing legs. 75%+ full timers and long term contractors get the outside shaded spots. Be prepared for lots of contractors big trucks firing up at...

Although there were open spots at the campground I was denied a stay because they were "getting ready for labor day weekend". Granted this is a week before. Lost our business before we even got there.

We Will never return! Park is clean but overpriced. Management (owner) lady is unpleasant and harassing at every encounter and seems to resent the RVers that don't live there. Not much of a "marina", just a very steep and narrow launch and an old bug-ridden ( wasps mostly) boat dock. Laundry has 2 old washers and dryers and everything closes...

Nice campground, friendly camp host, beautiful scenery. Road to the campground is a bit narrow but easy to navigate, if you drive much in Ky. that's the way most roads are. Tons of history within a 20 mile radius. We are looking forward to going back.

Our experience was similar to a few of the recent reviewers. I had heard about this place on a recent list of 10 places to see in Kentucky. We wanted to scope it out - to see what it looked like, how it was set-up, for future planning. Within 2 minutes of arriving we were told to "just leave". We...

Well, I've heard stories but I've never experienced campground owners who are biased against vintage campers until last night. En route from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to our home in Chicago, I had been driving long enough that I needed to pull over and get some sleep. I tried one campground, but they had gates across their entrance...

When we arrived they changed our spot. I told the lady my daughter was behind us by an hour and how do we get them in as they have an electronic gate which is not needed as this place is so far off the beatin path, if you want a card to get through the gate they charge you $10.00...

This was my second year staying in this park for a month or more. Located on the Kentucky River and secluded from any traffic or noise. The owners are great people and really strive to keep a well maintained park and pleasant stay for all by enforcing the rules only as necessary. The park has good WiFi but cell phone...

“We enjoyed the waterfront. Center of campground is mostly drive thru sites with no shade. Sites are large. There is wi-fi and satellite dish hookups available.”
