Detailed Reviews
This hotel had been open less than a week when we stayed here but you would never know that the hotel & staff were brand new! Our stay was seamless & perfect! No complaints! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly! Hotel breakfast was also great! Louisville was packed & sold out for the weekend, but Shelbyville was a great quiet option outside of downtown but close enough we could drive in to everything we needed downtown! We will def stay here again when we come to Louisville.

This was an absolut pleasant stay! It is a relatively new hotel, easy to reach but wonderfully quiet. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The breakfast selection had all you would expect, the lady caring for it very attentive and everyone was very friendly. Would for sure stay here again in the area.

Stayed here 4 nights, never heard any noise but hotel full. The staff from check in to check out were really helpful. Always greeting us as we arrived back each night. Room was really clean. Property and grounds well maintained. Breakfast was okay, nothing bad and no complaints but not the typical quality or quantity of similar Marriotts. Fairly simple and not as many choices but it served its purpose. The breakfast area very spacious and very clean.

We were warmly greeted by Jeanine. She checked in on us as we came and went on how our meal was etc… and if we needed anything. We were short a tv remote and let Jeanine know. A short while later, she knocked on our door with another tv remote. Our room was spotless and very quiet. My only suggestion would be a Fairfield Inn sign on the street you turn on. The street is directly across from the Shell Station. We drove right by it.

Very nice, new hotel. Just a brief 1 night stay, and we picked it because it was near a couple of distilleries we wanted to check out. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good, and the location was great. We plan to stay here again when we return to the area in Sept.

I was met by a VERY rude and EXTREMELY sarcastic desk attendant after waiting more than 5 minutes at the desk with no one around. I eventually called out if anyone was working and from a far off distance she said very sarcastically "I'm coming, I'm coming".
TLN then acted like I was bothering her and asked me for my identification. I gave it to her and asked for my room key. She returned my identification and proceeded to ask me why I was staying at this hotel that night. I asked her why she wanted to know that and informed her that I stayed at this very same hotel on Friday November 1, 2024 and a different agent checked me in and did not ask me that question. She proceeded to tell me that I was a liar because she worked on Friday night and she would have checked me in and she asked everyone that question. I told her she WAS NOT the agent that checked me in and that it was an older lady working who told me she had only been working there 3 days at the time she was checking me in.
TLN continued to say I was a liar and did not know what I was talking about and just wanted to know why I was staying at the hotel that evening.
I eventually told TLN that I was in town for the President Trump Victory party at which point she told me to leave and that my kind were not welcome at that hotel.
I screamed at TLN to give me my room key and attempted to reach across the desk to take my key but she grabbed it and told me republicans are not allowed here.
She called the police and started lying saying I was assaulting her and that I was refusing to leave. I continually asked TLN for my room key and she continued to lie to the dispatcher.
I eventually left since it was obvious TLN was hell bent on lying and getting me in trouble as a Democrat would do. I figured it better to leave and live to fight another day, which I certainly will. I am talking to attorneys now seeing what my options are to sue TLN and Marriott Bonvoy Hotels.
I was disgusted by TLN how obvious it was that she was antiTrump and would do whatever it took to not have me stay at the hotel. I suspect Marriott Bonvoy is Democratic in nature and employs democrats to enforce their agenda. This may have never even occurred had she been at her appointed desk on duty when I arrived but she was annoyed immediately when I called out if anyone was working. Marriott Bonvoy should be ashamed and disgusted by their employees actions but I know they won't be and will turn this around and make it my fault because who I am and what I represent.
