If you want to hike the challenging trails of the park, this is a great location. The pool is a 6 minute drive away. Very little information for a first time visitor. The restaurant focused on buffets. The rooms are marginally adequate, but okay for a short visit.

We very much enjoyed our stay in the lodge at Natural Bridge Resort State Park. The room was clean and comfortable and we really liked our balcony, where we relaxed and took in all the natural beauty around us. Trails are conveniently assessable right outside the lodge...certainly no lack of areas to explore! Parking is somewhat limited but the Rangers... More

The lodge was very clean and the staff was helpful. The lodge is centrally located to natural Bridge and the Red River Gorge area. the lodge is not fancy but affordable. The restaurant is simple, comfort food.

Most review written thus far are spot on. The furnishings are dated and our shower had seen better days, but the whole room was clean and the bed comfy. The best part about this hotel is its surroundings. We felt like we were IN the forest and honestly haven't stayed anywhere like it. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony, drinking... More

I've been going here since I was a toddler and just visited again with my 9 year old son. This place is absolutely incredible. Awesome staff, very quiet, incredible setting, and loads of hiking with awesome views literally right out the back door. However...if you like 5 star resorts with tons of amenities you will NOT like it here. The... More

We booked this hotel on a last minute mother-daughter hiking trip and were so happy we did. Our only regret was we arrived later than expected and didn't have time to explore the grounds like we wanted. Our view was beautiful, our room spotless and peaceful. This needs to be a must for any one traveling that loves nature. Our... More

Good park to go see the natural bridges and cliff over looks if your adventurous to climb the many stairs which some are in need of repair, but if you're not into stairs the have a sky lift which takes to the top of mountain for a short walk to the Natural Bridge to view the top of it and... More

Went to Natural Bridge with one of my kids to hike and stayed a night at Hemlock Lodge. Great state park hotel, somewhat dated but lobby, restaurant and common areas all in good shape. Rooms are large have had some updates and very good views. We ate in the restaurant for supper and breakfast and the food was fine, typical... More

This lodge makes it possible to stay right inside the park during your visit to Natural Bridge. It is a drive up into the park, so it is helpful to be able to stay overnight. Many of the hiking trails start right near the lodge area. Rooms were nice and clean, and each lodge room has a great view of... More

Chose to stay on property at the Hemlock Lodge as we (my sister and I) were only visiting the area for 2 days (1 night). Although searches online (and driving tours around the area) had lots of cabins for rental, we opted to stay somewhere we felt was more likely to be secure, economical and felt since we were only...
