Have you ever walked into a hotel and said to yourself "Well..... it's just for one night..."? That's what I said to myself when I walked in. To be fair, my very budget minded boss made the reservation. I typically stay at Fairfield Inns - a different level of accommodations to be sure. The lobby was clean but absolutely dated....

It was an overall good stay; had some problem w/TV that took awhile to get fixed but overall a nice place to stay. The pet policy was especially nice and the staff was friendly & professional. The breakfast food was excellent and the lighting in the parking lot was exceptionally well done.

Good Value for Price. Breakfast was lacking, good clean room, comfortable bed. It's an older hotel, but maintenance has been done, and it appears there was a remodeling project sometime back to update the hotel. Staff was very nice

My son and his family live in this area of Baton Rouge. This hotel is near the major Interstate, and roads. Always friendly staff, reasonably priced, clean, and comfortable. A nice breakfast is offered. I have often seen a security officer in the lobby. Parking lot is well lit. Easy to get to, and helpful staff. Really, what else does...

Stayed here for two nights at Christmas. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Small lobby and breakfast area. Room was clean but did have a musty odor. Hotel was very quiet. Wifi was good. Breakfast was standard cereals, bagels, waffles, yogurt and boiled eggs. If I needed one or two nights in the area, I would stay, again.

Staff was friendly. Love that dogs are welcome and free of charge!!! Dirty bathroom and breakfast selection was poor. Recommend for a quick one night stay while traveling with pets, but without pets would find something else.

I stayed here while passing through town on business. I had a very nice stay and would return to stay here again. My room was clean and comfortable with no odd hotel smells. All staff that I encountered were friendly, helpful and professional. I enjoyed the breakfast which was hot and fresh.

In Texas the La Quinta hotels are normally very clean and bright with friendly staff. We thought this was a safe bet. We were wrong. The hotel is worn out, musty, not very clean and our room AC smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. The neighborhood is rough at best. The woman at the desk was a little abrupt though...

“This was hands down one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. I booked this hotel 2-3 weeks in advance. My receipt specifically says a double bed and I received a king bed. I was told by the very unfriendly women at the front desk that "This happens all the time and that's what I get for booking online." Not only was this my first and last time at a La Quinta, this was a business trip where I had to room with another person I had never met before and had to share a king bed because the hotel couldn't accommodate me.”
