I stayed at the Baton Rouge Marriott for my wedding weekend. It was a very wonderful experience. Let me add the Marriott was my 2nd choice and should have been my 1st. After a poor experience with the Renaissance Hotel, a friend suggested The Marriott. This should have been my first choice! It is in a great location, very close...

As my business travels usually require me to stay at Hilton properties, I rarely stay at Marriott hotels, but my niece had a block of rooms reserved for a wedding. For what I paid and what I received, the Hampton Inn that I had stayed at the previous night was a much better value. The Marriott had a tiny bathroom,...

Recently returned to the Baton Rouge Marriott for another stay and it is still a great place to stay. The staff is still very friendly. The desk worker was very polite at check in and was quick to say "welcome back" after I mentioned that this was my second time staying here. My room was very clean and the bed...

We were in town to participate in a half marathon & this was our first visit to Baton Rouge. The check-in staff could not have been more accommodating, sweet & personable. They went out of their way to be helpful & recommended a fantastic restaurant (Parrain's). We asked for a room on an end on a high floor because we...

My husband and stayed at this Marriott for a softball tournament February 27 & 28 2015. Staff at front desk was very friendly especially Ms. Kayla. (hope I remembered her name correctly) It is a full service Marriot minus valet parking. It is clean but very dated hotel so don't go here expecting new anything. It is close to plenty of...

This hotel is completely worn out and is in desperate need of a renovation. Marriott properties from my experience are normally in much better shape. Very friendly staff. Restaurant and bar very good. Hotel otherwise clean.

Arrived pretty late at night on a road trip, lobby is outstanding I did not expect it based on the design of the hotel, once in the elevator there was an advertisement for local mixed drinks so I was game for that the next day... however the room its self was a bit long in the tooth. Unfortunately there was...

As a Platinum Marriott member who stayed here weekly for 8 months, I would advise anyone against staying here. Management does not care about treatment of guests or maintaining the hotel. Rooms are outdated, there are not enough outlets for anyone living in the 21st century, gym equipment is frequently broken, gym is usually out of towels/water/wipes, concierge lounge food...

I was here for a business seminar and the facilities are average. Check in was easy and fast, the front desk staff is very friendly and gave great recommendations for local restaurants. The room was a good size but a little dirty, the chair at the desk had weird stains on it. I am guessing that this is an older...

I stayed here for one night recently. The only other hotel in the area I had stayed was the DoubleTree...next time, I will likely be back at the DoubleTree.
