Stayed at this hotel while on a historical tour. The hotel is located very close to a lot of shopping centers and malls not to mention some very good restaurants. The room was quiet and did not smell bad. The bad, however, is that there was a strange goo on top of one of the bedside tables, a cigarette burn...

I gave this place a one only because there was no zero. We checked in late so it was dark walking to the room. When turning the light on in the bathroom roaches went everywhere! We were leaving anyway so didn't complain at that point. We ended up staying in the waiting room of the hospital because we did not...

Right off the bat, it will be a little tricky to locate if you are not familiar with the area. Upon arrival, there was a room boarded up, sketchy people walking around, whether they were staying there or not, and lots of loud music. It did not give the best first impression at all. I felt completely unsafe; slept with...

Kinda sketchy. It is definitely not in comparison to a holiday inn. Very run down and old. Nothing except the tv seems to have been updated. Needs a good remodel and maybe would be better. Just an OK stay. Nothing special but wouldn't stay again

We reserved a non-smoking room and this was verified at check in. The room had a little non-smoking sign in it. Unfortunately, the room smelled like a wet, nasty ashtray. It was so bad we could barely stand it. When we got home the next day we had to wash all of our clothes and take showers to get the...

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, you are entirely correct in that non-smoking rooms should be smoke-free. We do verify room type at check-in and inform guests that smoking is not allowed in our non-smoking rooms. We also keep signs both in our lobby as well as in the non-smoking rooms, however, smoking does still take place. We will take...

My husband and I wanted a motel that was convenient to I-10 while traveling from Alabama to Texas. I don't like to spend a lot of money for just an overnight stay, and after reading the reviews for Americas Best Value Inn, decided to give it a try. It exceeded my expectations. All of the front desk personnel were extremely...

Came back to this hotel for a business trip. I stayed 2 nights and paid $69 per night. Great location, literally right next to I-10 Freeway, shopping centers and restaurants, the Mall of Louisiana, downtown Baton Rouge and LSU campus. Rooms were clean. TV, wireless internet and phone worked. Very professional and responsive front desk service. Overall, a very enjoyable...

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it's a great value. The area is quiet and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. My room was clean and the air conditioning worked. Wireless internet was slow though. This is a value inn so don't go in expecting it to be the Hilton. But for the price, this is a...

The room was spacious, and air conditioning worked well. The neighborhood was quiet. The bed was my favorite part, so comfortable! It's a great location with many nearby restaurants. I would return for my next trip to Baton Rouge.

Room was clean and of good size with fridge and microwave. Breakfast items were minimal with not hot food. Access from highway and proximity to shopping, restaurants, gas stations and services are bonus points.
