They literally rolled out the red carpet! Our tour bus arrived at night so we were winding down country roads along a bayou with nothing in sight. Then we came to Loyd Hall and it was magnificent! We toured the house, had a holiday dinner and sang carols. This is definitely a stop on future tours.

Wonderfully relaxing stay. We were a little apprehensive about our visit but there was no reason to be. When we arrived, we were the only ones there but the keys were in the box as promised. It was a little intimidating walking into the plantation house, but it was beautiful and we soon felt at home. The room was comfortably... More

In the middle of Cane sugar plan, you will find this plantation house ;Beautiful place where rooms have been set-up in the various buildings surrounding the main house and suites in the main house. Nice pool, very good breakfast. the only remark: nobody to welcome you; you will have an envelope, so very impersonal. you can visit the main house... More

My husband and I love this grand plantation. We stay twice a year. Once to enjoy the summer heat and pool. And once in the winter to snuggle up near the fireplace. We always stay in the Fitzgerald Suite. Ms. Beulah is always a pleasure to visit with and we have developed a beautiful friendship thru the years.I highly recommend this... More

My wife and I loved our stay at Loyd Hall Plantation. We stayed in the building that used to be the plantation kitchen and our room was cozy and very comfy. It was raining in the evening and we sat out on the porch in rocking chairs enjoying the rain and we could imagine we had gone back in time... More

I loved the experience of being part of a historic plantation. I got to sleep in a huge, romantically dressed bed. Eat breakfast on a large dining table overlooking the sugar cane and soy bean fields, oh yeah and cool blue tile pool. Didn't have that in the 1800s! Superb!

We stayed in the old kitchen room. Very quiet with a lovely view of the pool. The room comes with a tour of the historic plantation. Comfortable and off the beaten trail. This venue has a place for weddings

We stayed here for one night in 2012 on our way to New Orleans and were lucky enough to get the plantation mansion all to ourselves. There are two suites in the main house, but nobody else was there that night. It is absolutely breathtaking, like stepping back in time with all the modern comforts. We had a big old... More
