Detailed Reviews
Stayed here with my 2 daughters while traveling between appointments. The rooms are lovely, clean and warm, the bathroom spotless.
The bar was very busy with a function in the back but as busy as the hotel was we were well looked after, including my daughters ordering fudge cake after the kitchen had closed.
The following morning breakfast was lovely, hot and well cooked. The girls had pancakes and again they were lovely.
This hotel is excellent value for money and we will definitely be returning.

Decided to travel over to Ferricks this morning as we fancied a nice breakfast. Upon arrival we were promptly advised to join the queue for the carvery breakfast, no other options. The breakfast was literally thrown onto the plate with all apart from the beans picked up by the servers hands and placed onto the plate. The toast was lukewarm and half cooked on the counter so far from fresh. If like me you enjoy a nice mug / pot of tea or coffee with your breakfast then you will be further disappointed as you need to find the waitress who is floating to fill the small cup sitting on your table. Normally I would say this place offers an exceptional breakfast with great choice / service but on this occasion it was that bad I felt a review was warranted. Appreciate there was a flow of guests going to game in Dublin but there was absolutely no thought given to the individuals not travelling and looking for a decent fresh breakfast. To pay €26 for the 2 breakfasts (muck) thrown up this morning was a complete disgrace.

Myself and my husband stopped to eat on June 3rd . As my husband is a coeliac we asked was the chips GF as this was a decider in what he ordered. The waitress checked and said yes. We proceeded to order 2 x steaks @€28.95 over priced for what you get. the (tuff) steak was served on a boat shaped dish sitting on top of a pool (slop) of pepper sauce with a half a dozen pieces of onion / mushroom plus a small dish of chips. No place to put your chips on the plate with the steak. On asking again the waitress was she sure the chips were GF she said she would check this time she returned and said they couldnt guarantee they were. If we had been told this from the start we would have ordered something that he could have had veg and potatoes with. So please Coeliac's be very wary of Feericks for eating in.The worst food i have had in a very long time. Over priced and terrible bad quality.

Walked into this Bar/restaurant and it was like a western, bar flies looking at us like we had two heads. we seemed to be putting the barman out by asking for food which was very basic when it came out. A pity as it is in a good location with lots of passing traffic.

I didn't expect to pay 12 euro for a soup and a sandwich.
It is quite a nice country pub about halfway on my journey from Mayo to Dublin. I usually just get a sandwich at the garage for today. I wanted a warm bowl of soup instead so I decided to stop here. The soup and toasted sandwich were in themselves fine. Just your average pub fare. When the girl said 12 euro I actually asked how they arrived at that figure. That is it i won't be going back again

We had a family birthday celebration here and we loved it ! The staff couldn't have been more friendly and made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble (considering there were 7 children in our group this was fantastic ). The food was great - good selection, tasty & all plates were cleared. Will def be back again :)

Stopped off for lunch with a colleague and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent food and the staff, more then enough to keep the biggest appetite content and at a reasonable price !!
