We are so disappointed that you are no longer a b&b. Two years ago , May 2015 , for a family wedding in the area some of our us stayed at Bocage and it was a wonderful experience. I just called to book every room for another family event next year in April, 2017 but was told of the change....

I typically feel a little awkward staying at B&Bs but Roberto helped us feel right at home. Very hospitable and personable. The room was private and the type of furniture you typically can't even touch was functional and extremely comfortable. It really gives you the feeling of what it may have been like to be a guest at a sugar...

It was a great treat to get to stay in a real plantation house. The house is beautiful and the antiques are stunning. I felt like Scarlet O'Hara sleeping in the Blue room! I definitely recommend splurging on a night at Bocage if you are interested in plantation history -- it feels like a step back in time!

I stayed here with my fiancé and my parents for Christmas. My fiancé and I stayed in the blue room while my parents stayed in the red room. The place was beautifully furnished, with all the necessary 21st century upgrades such as TV, wifi, and modern bathroom. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner's sweet Ukrainian house keeper....

A unique B&B. As best I could determine on the Internet, Le Bocage is the only southern plantation where you can stay in the “big house.” If there were dozens, I would still recommend this one. There are only four bedrooms. Each is palatial. In fact, the whole house is palatial. Purchased and renovated by a Houston pathologist, it is...

Being a well travelled visitor with a fondness and experienced eye for antiques and quality, I was thrilled with my stay on a Saturday evening. From the horses grazing behind a lovely fence to the east as the sun set to the west , the carefully chosen locations of young Live Oaks planted for the future generations to enjoy, to...

Simply stated, Bocage Plantation is beautiful, and our stay was as well. We stayed in the Colombe Blue room, which was exquisitely furnished and comfortable beyond belief. Just be prepared to feel small, as the doors must be 12 feet high, and the ceilings at least 16. The house is furnished with period antiques, which are so impressive it might...

We stayed for one night and were welcomed with a bottle of wine and snacks. Our room the Blue Colombo room was beautiful. The home is one of the nicest on river road. It was beautifully adorned with antiques. Luba greeted us and made a delicious gourmet breakfast for us. Highly recommend staying here.

Bocage is a beautiful Greek Revival masterpiece most probably designed by James Dakin. My wife and I had admired Bocage from the river road and decided to spend our wedding anniversary at Bocage. The idea of staying in an a classic river road plantation decorated with period antiques was appealing, but we were not quite sure what to expect. Any...

We have just returned from spending two nights at the Bocage Plantation. We were greeted by the hosts Luba and Ihor ( I hope I have spelt the names right!) Apparently they had only been in the role of hosts for just a week, but their enthusiasm, friendliness and genuine hospitality won us over along with all the other guests...

“The Rose Room is the only room with a bathtub, and can be combined with the smallest of the four rooms into a suite. Both the Rose and the Blue rooms are at the front of the house, and lovely. But take any room you can get!”
