As a returning Vincentian from England who booked myself and my wife for 2 nights before heading to Bequia. Checked in at reception. Was shown to our room which was one of the new apartments overlooking the pool. The best description I can give of the room is it is like being in a tank with no natural light in the bedroom. After a days travel we were keen to shower but realised there was no water available. We were unable to flush the toilet for the same reason. Went to the fridge to see if any bottled water would be available for new arrivals but was empty! I phoned reception for assistance and I was advised the hotel had a water shortage. I asked how we could bathe or use the toilet he had no answer and said we could check out in the morning. Whilst I was aware the country was suffering a drought as a hotel they should have ensured basic provisions were met. There was not even any warning or offer of any form of assistance which left my wife and I in a very uncomfortable position. Whilst an apology for the situation was offered the next day no recompense was offered. In addition I felt the communal areas were very dated and worn. It is overpriced for what it is, I have given 3 stars only because the restaurant staff were very friendly, the location on the beach and the food was tasty. I will however not be returning.

We originally booked a 2 night quarantine stay because we understood we had to quarantine on arrival in St Vincent. However, Port Health were satisfied enough with our vaccination records and PCR tests and allowed us to move freely straight away. All the same, we stayed one night to recuperate from our 36 hour journey before joining catamaran Indioko for a 3-week cruise of the Grenadines.
At the end of our cruise we booked in again to Paradise Beach as we had been so impressed when we first arrived. The hotel were fabulous and honoured the second night of our original booking, complete with meals!
We found the staff to be friendly and helpful during both our stays. I'm guessing they get a lot of different approaches from various guests but everyone really opens up if you're prepared to reach out. Food was good, if not spectacular, but their rum punch was about the best I had anywhere in the Grenadines.
Our room opened out onto the pool and came with fridge, TV and AC. I think it had been recently redecorated and certainly there was more refurbishment going on elsewhere in the hotel.
As others have noted, there isn't much of a beach at the hotel - the water comes right up to the veranda - but it is absolutely a waterfront property. There's also a dive centre and party hut next door, close enough for variety but far enough away not to be a nuisance.
For comparison, we also spent one night at the Radisson in Barbados during our trip and it was nowhere near as comfortable and clean as Paradise Beach, despite being four times the price!
Overall I rate this as excellent and highly recommended.

We stayed in the Hotel's apartment villa for one month. It was very spacious, clean and had a full kitchen. Staff in hotel are great - especially Tika who did a fantastic job of cleaning and refreshing our room regularly.

Amazing location on the beach front with a fantastic view of the Villa Bay. Small swimming pool and sun lounge area, was always clean and beds available.

Food was great - Fresh grilled lobster and the conch roti a must try!!

Thank you all for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back!!

We’ve eaten a lot at the restaurant of this hotel so we were excited to come back for a good breakfast at the beachfront and were unfortunately disappointed from start to finish.

The instructions for entering were to wear a mask and sanitise but there was no sanitizer. No staff at reception and later when they did appear no one wore a mask. So why ask for it?

We got to the restaurant and the waiter was just standing at the bar daydreaming. When we sat at a table and nothing was happening we had to go up and ask to be served. His response was he was waiting for us to be seated! How do you respond to that?

The menu looked quite inviting but with steep prices for what you actually got. A large American breakfast offered a stack of toast with a tiny jar of jam, 2 eggs and either sausage, bacon or ham. You also got a hot drink and juice.

There ended up being no choice of juice - the waiter decided we would be fine with the juice he brought out and looked puzzled when a few of us said we couldn’t drink that. He took meticulous notes of our order and still took half an hour to serve a cup of tea and then forgot some of the order. The sausages were tiny - no idea where they found these but nothing about this breakfast was American.

The pancakes also ended up almost like a stack of deep fried batter.

Service was slow, when the food came it wasn’t hot. So all in all not a place we would try again unless it completely changed its service and menu.

Slow, sullen, lazy disinterested service in the Restaurant.
Beach was HEAVING with tourists, sunchairs .umbrellas. booming music and drinks vendors...my idea of hell on earth.
not a nice vibe and nowhere to sit.Tide was up very high and was washing under the chairs. JUST AWFUL
Suggest you walk off this "beach" to Indian Bay beach.it'll take maybe 20 mins....
and that's more like it!!though no facilities whatsoever on Indian Bay beach.

Really lack luster place in desperate need of a overhaul. We arrive at check-in and were taken to our room which was supposed to be ocean view but it was really not, we were offered another room but when I looked at it I cringed from the soiled bed skirt to the old tattered curtains, I was like an immediate no thanks. I showered in freezing cold water the first night and for the rest of the week it was a hit or miss with a lukewarm trickle. The grounds are in a much needed state of overgrown weeds and the area where the old tired dirty looking beach chairs are need to be swept and walls painted. There are no out door faucets to wash your feet when coming from the beach, but there is a bus bin with water and a sign that says wash your feet, how unhygienic to have scores of people washing their feet in the same dirty water. Ugg. Most of the staff were great but the day time bartender rude and had no manners, the shift manager also requires customer service training and people skills, after an unpleasant experience with her where she over charged me for add extra protein to meal. I told here I would not be spending another dime in the hotel and I started going to other restaurants in the area, best decision ever!! Ended up with better tasting meal at better prices. I would never stay at this hotel again.

absolutely hopeless and the Managment/Owners do not seem to be bothered one iota. Staff couldn’t find room keys when we arrived and had to use a spare key from the cleaner. At breakfast we asked for more butter and the staff said they couldn’t give us any more butter until we had finished our individual packets. The reason was that the managment/owners charge staff for any half-used butter-the staff actually told us this. At breakfast and dinner we asked to pay the bill at the table and were asked if we would like to put it on the room to save time. We did this and when checking out we noticed a 3.5% service charge for putting the bill onto our room. the practices at this establishment are so outdated it’s not true. Rooms are clean but outdated, to/power cables all over the floor and door keys that seem to have been installed upside down and wrong way around. Roll on Sandals, Holiday Inn and La Vue for having great hotels, great staff and great managment. I would personally NEVER stay here again or even recommend it to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay here recently at this small rustic hotel. Great location near Kingston. Our room had stove, fridge, microwave. Air conditioning lovely living room and separate bedroom. Beautiful spacious balcony overlooking the pool (which changed colors at night) and the beach. Located next to the excellent dive shop. The restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed gathering with other guests and locals at the bar in the evenings. We watched spectacular sunsets from our patio every night and had a great view of Young Island with other Grenadine islands in the distance. Rates were very reasonable.

Paradise Beach was recommended by a friend because my usual hotel was full. Initially, upon arrival, the service was shakey, but the staff did an ok job. I opted to have a PCR test for my return journey, the hotel does rapid antigens and did not explore the possibility to assist me in finding a lab to do the PCR at the hotel. That was quite disappointing.

The room was cozy and clean, and the receptionist got me a kettle so I can prepare my morning beverages. The view from the ocean view room was magnificent, sadly I did not get the opportunity to fully enjoy it.

The restaurant was nice enough, but I must give a special shout out to my waitress Shakeela who made me one heck of a cocktail.

I would definitely stay there again, and recommend the hotel to others!

My husband and I came to SVG on the 1st May 2022 for a holiday. We were very excited because we had been told what a unique and beautiful island it is.
We had booked with Virgin Holidays to stay at " Beachcombers Hotel" at the end of Villa Beach. Within 3 days we had left that hotel. I have written a separate review.
We came across Paradise Beach whilst walking on the beach (to get away from Beachcombers) and decided to pop in for a beer to cheer us up. We were made to feel welcome by Eldon. Very friendly, happy staff and my husband and I decided to come back the next day for the Vincy breakfast despite being bed and breakfast at Beachcombers. The next day after a fab breakfast we had booked with Paradise Beach for the remainder of our stay minus one night as we had an overnight stay on Youngs Island.
We had a lovely seaview room No 17 ...it was perfect. Comfortable ,clean and airy. Superb view and a great pool.
All the staff were amazing and the hotel has a really friendly warm vibe.
The BBQ night is great fun and really good value for money. We really liked the hotels menu and ate there a lot.
Kim Halbich, the owner is friendly, professional and genuine.. We told her what a great hotel and staff she has.
All in all Paradise Beach saved our holiday to SVG after an upsetting start. Is it a beautiful and unique island ...oh yes it is. Are the St Vincentians lovely people ..oh yes they are! Will we return ....a big fat yes.
