Breakers is a wonderful place and the owners are very accommodating. My husband and I have stayed here for about 30+ years and it is on the beach which is a plus for us. We have been there 3 times in the last 2 months and will be going back. Mr. Gary and Miss Anna go out of there way...

Location: A dune away from the beach :) Fishing is big here, but there is not much else to do. There are a couple (literally 2) restaurants and a supermarket close. Room: Convenient to have an oven/stovetop, refrigerator, sink, basic cookware, and a kitchen table. Bedrooms were average. Rooms all include a screened in porch with chairs and clothesline. Screened...

My husband, two children, and myself spent a long weekend in Grand Isle. We stayed at the Breakers Motel which was recommended by a friend. It's an older motel, but it's on the beach, just steps from the Gulf. It was clean, cool and fitted our budget. If you go to Grand Isle don't expect to find a four seasons...

My family and I recently stayed for a weekend at the breakers in grand isle. The hotel is in a great location (right on the beach) and the room fit all 4 of us perfectly. The room was also very clean and the owners were pleasant and helped us with many things including the small grill in the back. Overall...

I am lucky to say that I did not stay here!! From the first phone call to make reservations, the female who answers the phone was rude!! I had an unexpected issue come up and was trying to see how much time I had before I had to decide if I needed to cancel. I called twice to make sure...

We make a reservation at this dump and the owner took a credit card number to reserve the room . She calls one week before we arrived to let us know that she was cancelling it because she had rented it for more money . I informed her that a person was only as good as their word . People...

When I called to set up the reservation I should have known better. The person taking my information was not very friendly. You are told that you have to bring your own towels. My gut told me to cancel, but I didn't listen to it. 4 days before I was to stay there with my companion as a birthday trip,...

The room was ok for the price. There is a kitchen that is nice and two rooms. One room had two beds and the other had one bed. There was only 1 air conditioner in the place but it stayed cool in the front room. I would recommend you to bring two fans- one for each room- then you can...
