We stayed in the Mardi Gras room that was located behind the kitchen. It was HOT and the fan was squeaky. You can't open the windows because it is just glass. Someone was washing clothes at midnight right off the kitchen...by our room. They say...More
This was the first time we stayed here since the new owners took over. We were glad that not too much had changed! It's a very special bed and breakfast. We were treated to a large glass of wine when we arrived and then the...More
T'Frere's Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful gem in the culturally rich city of Lafayette. Leah, Stacy and all the staff were truly delightful. They were helpful, friendly and accommodating to our whole group (a party of 13). The house has a fascinating history yet...More
The property and staff were beyond amazing!!! The food was outstanding and we felt like we were right at home. I would not stay anywhere else in Lafayette. It is the perfect location to great restaurants and all the sites!

The new owner, Richard Young, is not related to the previous owners, Pat and Maugie Pastor. Richard has his Director of Events and Operations, Jeanne Marie Lousao, living on the property until the perfect innkeeper can be found. Jeanne oversees the staff who run the business during normal office hours.

Bonjour Hal and Rebecca!
We are thrilled that you have chosen T'Frere's during your stay! Lafayette is locally known as the "hub city" of Cajun Country so I believe y'all have chosen the perfect destination! The area has many, probably too many haha, wonderful restaurants and entertainment venues. To name a few of our "must visits" are as follows: Randol's Seafood Restaurant and Dance Hall, Prejeans, The Little Big Cup, French Press, Blue Dog, Downtown Alive, Angelle's Whisky River Landing, Café Des Amis, and much more. Please visit Louisiana Travel website to learn even more of what Acadiana has to offer!
We are looking forward to meeting y'all!
