Had always wanted to see the Christmas lights in Natchitoches. Managed to book a lovely room at the Violet Hill BnB at the last minute. Room with en suite was lovely - comfortable bed and Jacuzzi bath. Unfortunately we did not have time to enjoy to back porch which overlooked the river. It was in walking distance from the Front...

Violet Hill is a beautiful home in the historic district of Natchitoches LA. The home overlooks the Cane River. The banks of the river was decorated with lights for Christmas. The back porch of Violet Hill was a nice place to relax. A special thanks to Angelia for a great breakfast.

Attractive, clean, comfortable Victorian home close to downtown activities. A great view of the water from the back porch & a deck over the water for fishing. The holiday lights were beautiful & the leaves on the trees almost as colorful as the lights! Friendly staff. Wonderful visit.

Beautiful furnishings decorated to perfection. Very quiet and peaceful setting. sweet personable innkeeper Laverne. She treated us like a guest in her own home and made a wonderful gourmet breakfast. She was friendly but not invasive of our privacy.

What a great stay! We stayed in the John Reavls guest room and our friends stayed in the Stem Wheeler room. Upon entering the b&b, soft music was playing and the ambience was delightful, while the guest rooms were ornate and more than adequate. The breakfast prepared by the lovely innkeeper, Ms. Laverne was delicious with red raspberry bread pudding,...

As usual, we loved our visit to Natchitoches and it was Violet Hill that was the icing on the cake! The view of the fireworks from the dock was great! Our rooms were perfect and beds were comfy! Laverne prepared some really great breakfasts! My favorite was the rolled omelet! Can't wait until our next visit!

Room, view from back porch, Laverne's hospitality (and breakfast) were all top-notch! Shower in our room (Puckett Suite) is a little bit small, unusual and awkward, but it works. Bedroom of the Puckett Suite is very close to the street so you do get some street noise and it may keep you awake...if you are a light sleeper!

This was the best B&B I ever stayed in. The breakfasts were absolutely wonderful! Served by friendly staff and so complete we were still full at dinner time! Back porch swing and comfortable chairs provided relaxing afternoons to the sound of a cheerful fountain. Deck out on river provided great evening views accompanied by a glass of wine or two....

This inn is conveniently located within walking distance if downtown. It is cute, and comfortable. The back porch is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake. Our room was comfortable with a cozy bathroom. The innkeeper is a sweetheart and did her best to accommodate my meal request. She is a wonderful lady. I recommend this inn.

We stayed in the John Reavls Room which opened onto the back porch overlooking the Cane River Lake, a great place to curl up with a book or enjoy wine in the evening. The B&B is nicely furnished and comfortable with complimentary soft drinks and water and excellent breakfasts. It is about a one block walk to Maglieaux's Restaurant, the...
