I booked this B&B room expecting a little bit more hospitality. The hostess owner) was not friendly or helpful at all. She was very direct about how she hated opening up her house for tourist. The cottage we stayed in was just ok. Dishes were...More

Well, there is a full-sized stove as well as a microwave, which we assume guests will use to heat the croissants and muffins, and there is cereal and fresh fruit; all we offer here, and all we advertise, is a continental breakfast in the privacy...More
Comfortable, quiet, private, and very clean. We loved it here so much that we're already talking about when we could go back. The only sounds you hear are the wildlife and I'm sure it's even more beautiful when everything is in bloom. The grounds were...More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write. We do love our guests who enjoy what we offer here, which truly is peace and quiet and a beautiful setting. Come back soon.
I've never felt compelled to write such a negative review. But I have never stayed in such a neglected, run-down, filthy place. Pictures don't lie. No matter what nasty response the owner comes back with, trust all the legitimate reviewers here and RUN from this...More
In response to the Gennioe review above, I'd just like to mention that those two carloads of people were trespassers who were not guests here and had no right to comment on our facilities, and when I suggested that, had they been considerate enough to ask permission I would have been glad for them to take photos of themselves on our grounds, they called me rude and have called and written complaints. They didn't even have any right to be on the grounds; our sign clearly says No Tours, only B&B guests.

We welcome visitors to our grounds, even those who are not staying with us, if they ask permission first so that we know they are there. We allow photographs, and many pros bring brides or graduates or family groups to shoot on our grounds for a small fee. We don't charge non-professionals shooting for their own pleasure, not for sale. But we can't have unknown trespassers disturbing the peace and quiet of our paying guests, and our insurance surely doesn't cover them.
