We loved this quaint inn. We liked that it was so quiet and doesn't have the tours like some of the other B & B 's in the area. The courtyard and pool were a nice retreat. The owners were nice and if you need them just look on the porch. Good amenities. Room was clean. (The only negative I...

My husband made a one night reservation for us as part of my Birthday celebration. Checking in, one of the cats jumped up onto the counter right in front of us. (I am allergic to animal dander). The porches and stairs need to be cleaned and maintained. Our room needed a good cleaning from the ceiling to the floor as...

We had a great one-night stay at this old inn. The building is very charming, with a nice king-size bed room. The front rooms are open to guests, and there is a great selection of beers and wine to enjoy. For us being cat lovers, an ideal extra bonus is the three cats, of which one stayed in our room...

I was nervous about how The St. Francisville Inn would be based on some of the reviews I've read. I couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. You could come and go as you please, without feeling like you were intruding or that people were watching you. The main house of the bed and breakfast contained the owners living quarters (upstairs)...

The room was okay - nothing special, but okay. The breakfast was okay - the bacon was burned and so were the potato chunks. The innkeepers weren't very friendly at all. The entire experience was okay. Just okay. The older lady, Mrs Shirley, I think her name was, was warm and friendly. It was like we were in their way....

My husband and I stayed here on a short visit to Louisiana. Its a lovely place and our room was very pleasant. My husband is a smoker and it was very enjoyable for him to sit out on the porch outside the room. Breakfast was delightful. It included crepes, Bananas Foster, and quiche as well as expected breakfast items. Everything...

My daughter and I ventured through Louisiana last week and spent 2 days in St. Francisville based on a recommendation from a B&B in New Orleans. The town is great but we really lucked out by walking up and finding a room at the St. Francisville Inn. Pat and Laurie have a special place and are great hosts. The inn...

I can't explain how wonderful this hotel/b&b is. At present half way through a tour of the south and after 7 nights and four states this place took our breath away. Yes it's old, and it's authentic, but the decorative and and artistic touches to all facets of this property are mesmerising. The freedom you are allowed within the house...

My wife and I stayed here while I was doing a cross country bicycle ride. The rooms are somewhat dated, and may need some attention. No hair dryer. Not much explanation of how things work on checkin. The price wa reasonable compared to other Inns in the area. Breakfast was decent, a buffet, but that also means it did not...

This inn dates back to 1880 with all the comforts of home but obviously not sleek luxury. If you want "new" this inn is not for you however if you want a taste of old fashion glam this one is it. The owners are friendly and helpful, the rooms are outdated and could use a bit of work but they...

“We stayed on the first floor in the back. did not hear anything from any other guests that they didn't like their room so I am not sure there are some better than others. Had a covered porch all around which I read on a great deal.”
