We stayed here with two other couples the middle of January. The owners left our room keys and information sheet in the porch mail box as they were unable to be there at the time of our arrival. The house was built in 1905 and is decorated with beautiful antiques and period decor. We stayed in the three King rooms,...

Spent the day in Shreveport shopping. The best meal of the day was the breakfast that we had at the bed and breakfast. Great deal, amazing mattress, beautiful decor, awesome service. Beautifully decorated for Christmas.

2439 Fairfield is an oasis in a lodging desert caused by glitzy casinos and a city which emphasizes the casino business over fine lodging and dining. Brian & Jimmy have created a friendly welcoming place. The house is filled with Jimmy's collection of village houses, paperweights, and so on. Our room was thoughtfully laid out with a jacuzzi tub. The...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and 3 wonderful breakfast. It was such a treat. The rooms were comfortable and we especially enjoyed sitting out on our private balcony and of course the wonderful meals prepared for us. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone playing a trip to the Shreveport/Bossier City area and I know that...

While recently traveling through Louisiana we chose to spend a night at this amazing little B&B. What fun it was. Every little nook is filled with treasures and owner Jimmy Harris is very willing to tell the history behind them. We stayed in the Paul Stetson room which was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we were happy to...

My boyfriend and I live 700 miles apart, Shreveport is in the middle. We found this place and it is perfect for a romantic getaway weekend. Can't wait to go back and have some of their cheesy tomato grits!

The room was lovely (in that over-the-top, victorian-themed-bed-and-breakfast kind of way). Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was mostly excellent, including eggs, toast, mushrooms, freshly-picked local berries, and delicious fried pies. The only exception was the quiche, which we both found a little gross, but there was more than enough other delicious food to make up for that. Proprietor was friendly but...

We arrived around 9pm to be greeted by other guests who let us in, the owners were not present. They showed us where our room was which we can describe only as a chintz explosion of frills, flowers, ruffles, doilies and the highest bed we've encountered on a holiday, it even came with a step stool. The hunt for the...

Just spent three nights at 2439 Fairfield. Jimmy Harris' passions for hospitality, outstanding food and antiques is incredible good luck for the rest of us! We, too, felt that we were visiting a close friend in his gracious and beautiful home. The breakfast is unbelievably good with lots of interesting variety. I can't say enough good things about this B&B...
