My girlfriend and I visited Finca Bellavista this month as part of a tour in the Pacific area of Costa Rica. We visited amazing places but this was by far the best experience we had. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Finca. If you like nature, a peaceful place, fresh food, Epic views, adventure, friendly staff you can't...

The tree houses are so exciting. I stayed in one of the smaller houses and adored it. They are immaculate and well presented. Sleeping in such quirky comfort while it admits all the wonderfull Jungle ambiance is a phscadelic experience . My tree house had a loft with two beds as well as a room with a queen, plenty of...

I recall my first night at La Finca Bellavista. Having read the history of a few dreamers who with courage and herculean effort created a tree house community, I had to come and experience that which I could hardly believe. As the light of day failed, a new world opened up. An entire world of bioluminescence. First noticed when my...

We had such an incredible time with the freindly and personable staff that we definitely want to go back as soon as we can. We hiked to the prime waterfall and all over the property. The staff was incredibly pleasant to deal with and were ready to be our guides when needed and answer any questions we had. The managers...

Finca Bellavista is the best spot in Southern Costa Rica! Being sustainable and a treetop house community makes it unique! There is no other destination quite like it in the whole country! From the very start, the staff was friendly and we felt very welcome. A bag of fresh produce and grains for $20 fed me and my daughter for...

We stayed at Fila Tortuga, it has no electricity, however it has 2 private bathrooms and one outdoor shower. (Showering in the middle of the jungle was AMAZING). This place is so beautiful, peaceful, extreme, fun..... just great! You have to be in good physical shape as you will be hiking a lot, also, will encounter bugs and insects (not...

I visited this gorgeous treehouse community for 4 days and wish I never left. This place has everything you would ever want for an eco-trip. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Finca Bellavista is a treehouse community in the rainforest of Costa Rica! This village is a rustic, yet comfortable private retreat off the beaten path where owners and guests can explore the natural wonders of the rainforest canopy and enjoy treetop 'Pura Vida'. Finca Bellavista is not a full-service spa or fancy hotel. We are located in quiet corner of Costa Rica that is removed from many of the influences of the outside world. The nearest town (1.5 miles away) contains a school, a church, a pulperia, a bus stop, a handful of houses, and a soccer field. That's it. No souvenir shops, no mini-malls, and no rowdy bars. Finca Bellavista is for the traveller who wants to experience something truly different and special. We have acres of forest and gardens to explore, refreshing rivers, birdwatching, tours and much more. We look forward to hosting you in our rainforest home! ... more   less
