I visited this gorgeous treehouse community for 4 days and wish I never left. This place has everything you would ever want for an eco-trip. The tree houses are clean, comfortable and offer all the amenities you will ever need. With abundant wildlife, amazing vistas and an ice cold river to cool off in after a days hike, you will...

This is our third time visiting Finca Bellavista, and it's always sonice to explore the jungle here. First off, Matt and Amy are exceptional hosts and were very helpful with pointing us in a good direction to explore a different area than we have ever been. In addition to exploring all day, It was very nice to meet everyone at...

I recently traveled to Costa Rica and decided to go out on a limb and stay a few days in a treehouse community. After reading wonderful reviews about Finca Bellavista, I decided this was the place! Upon arrival, we were met at the base camp by Amy who happily welcomed us and provides us with bountiful information on the community...

I visited the Finca with friends earlier this month. I was really nervous about the trip because I'd never done anything like it before and I do not consider myself to be particularly outdoorsy or adventurous person. I probably emailed the staff at least a dozen times with questions about what to expect, what to pack, what to do, etc. They...

Went to finca with my boyfriend and stayed at Casa Perezosa, everything about our stay was incredible. We were lucky to be the only guest for most of our stay and got to enjoy the property completely to ourselves. The service was great, we enjoyed everything from morning hikes to the waterfall and river pools to our natural juice made...

Hi there! Glad to hear you enjoyed your time at the finca, and have recommended this time of the year for others to visit. We love having visitors during off season, as it allows a much more expansive experience for you and a slower pace to enjoy all of the little things that can be overlooked when it is busy!...

So my husband and I stayed at the finca for 5 nights and it was pretty amazing! We loved being in the elements of the jungle. Just hearing the sounds and being out with others who enjoyed nature was awesome! The food was fresh and great, although it didn't seem most of it came from their own gardens like they...

So glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at the finca! Matt & Amy were contacted by Mowgli's breeder shortly after his passing and they now have M.J. (Mowgli Junior) who is a blessing like his brother. We hope to see you again!

What an amazing experience FBV was! We read the website and all the tips to traveling to Finca many times before arriving. I felt really well prepared when we got there. We stayed in one of the smallest cabins available, about 15 minutes from base camp. It ended up being perfect, and just the amount of space that we needed....

I just spent 4 wonderful days at this Finca in the rain forest. As a woman of 75 I found the walking trails challenging, but I loved our Casa, loved the staff, food, things to do while there, even though I meant to do more than I actually did - it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience I am so glad...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Finca Bellavista is a treehouse community in the rainforest of Costa Rica! This village is a rustic, yet comfortable private retreat off the beaten path where owners and guests can explore the natural wonders of the rainforest canopy and enjoy treetop 'Pura Vida'. Finca Bellavista is not a full-service spa or fancy hotel. We are located in quiet corner of Costa Rica that is removed from many of the influences of the outside world. The nearest town (1.5 miles away) contains a school, a church, a pulperia, a bus stop, a handful of houses, and a soccer field. That's it. No souvenir shops, no mini-malls, and no rowdy bars. Finca Bellavista is for the traveller who wants to experience something truly different and special. We have acres of forest and gardens to explore, refreshing rivers, birdwatching, tours and much more. We look forward to hosting you in our rainforest home! ... more   less
