The room was immaculate, cool and nicely furnished. Hospitality and helpfulness was wonderful and all questions were answered. Nearby food places....Venetian really good food and drinks. Very nice to stay away from the world and back in history with such nice accommodations. Now I am spoiled and want to stay at a bed and breakfast rather than a Holiday Inn...

With heavy heart, I write this review of the Dansereau House. Our stay there was a disappointment. When we entered the home, there was a musty smell. My husband turned to me and asked, "Is this a funeral home?" Yes, it went downhill from there... My heart sank. Thankfully, we were given a room on the third floor, where the...

I'm so sorry to hear that you were so miserable during your stay here at the Dansereau House! I hope you'll come back and give us an opportunity to impress you all over again! I'll be there in the morning to greet you personally with hot coffee, (perfect New Orleans coffee with chickory!) and a scrumptious repast of Shrimp and...

This was one of the best nights we have had. The staff was friendly and very informative. Breakfast was great and a beautiful house with a great view. I will definitely make another trip here in the future. We had a better night in Thibodaux then we had in New Orleans.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this lovely B&B. We stayed in the Dansereau suite and could not have been more comfortable. The young women who ran the B&B could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, (scrambled eggs never tasted so good). What a treat all the way around.

What a beautiful home! The host was lovely and very welcoming. Our room was very nice with high 12 foot ceiling, a gorgeous chandelier and a very comfortable bed. Our breakfast was nicely done and presented. I would have loved to stay longer and enjoyed the wrap around porch with coffee, but we were only in town for one night.

Truly stunning heritage home. Our suite, the Evangeline suite was lovely. Very comfy beds with lovely linen and a good hot shower. We had a delicious white wine on the massive upstairs verandah whilst the sun set. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Ate in town but they do have a restaurant open on some nights - just not...

I stayed here for one night during a road trip through Louisiana. The property is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The luxurious bedroom provided a perfect night of sleep. I really enjoyed sitting outside on the large wrap around, second story porch. It was a perfect place for a good book and a...

This is a great place to stay. Deb has done a great job with training the staff, and making sure everything looks good and tastes good. It is our favorite place to stay in Louisiana. Breakfast was great. We stayed on a Thursday night so we could listen to the music. It is so nice to get a cup of...
