Front desk gal was super helpful and rooms were clean. Very basic and geared towards the fishing guys. No hairdryers but not a biggie. Microwave and decent sized frig. Our kids enjoyed watching the helicopters take off running people out to the rigs. Perfect spot if you are fishing out of the marina!!

A very friendly hotel in Venice, LA. Quick access to an early morning get up for a fishing charter the next morning. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean. The room was a great size! Wish it would have had a coffee maker in the room, but I walked to the lobby for coffee. It was a pretty...

We came to Venice for October Tuna fishing, houseboats and small rentals are the norm for this area. We opted for one of the rooms in the villas outback. The villas are all very nice and comfortable, set up nice and nice decor, very friendly front desk and help around the property. great prices for what is offered, and its...

What a surprise to find such a nice hotel on the edge of Louisiana! The staff is very friendly, the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was adequate - however, they ran out of English muffins by 8 o'clock. If you like pastry for breakfast, you will love it. I was a little bit surprised that the staff helped...

This place is great and the personnel was extremely friendly. They were able to check me in quickly and without any hassle. The room was extremely spacious and clean. The area surrounding the property is typical for offshore personnel since it is near the departure facilities of Venice. They provide early breakfast for those who need to depart in extremely...

Great spot to stay in Venice! Only place that offers breakfast and coffee to early risers! Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Right off the main highway so you can't miss it! There are a few sit in restaurants in the area so there are options to choose from! We will stay again!

Adequate accommodation facility with old finishes that appear dated and used. Lack of other options makes this the best in the area. No hot breakfast available. Basic accommodation which should be selected as a one night rest stop. Was adequate for business purposes and had good wifi availability in the room.

The Lighthouse Lodge is on the peninsula southwest of New Orleans. It is a picturesque tropical type of setting. The room I had was small, but very clean and well maintained. There is no restaurant in the lodge, so other than breakfast, which is provided, one must care for meals in other ways.

We stayed here overnight while embarking to an offshore vessel. Near the heliports and cleaner and nicer than I expected. I would stay here again because it is conveniently located. Practical place with friendly workers. The room was simple but meets your needs. I had two queen beds my bed was comfortable. A little bit noisy when people arrive.

“Get an upstairs room as it can get noisy early morning when the oil workers leave.”

“The Hotel is a two story with open to the outside corridors. A room on the first floor, on the North East side and furthest away from the road would be the quietest. Helicopter landing area is on the South side of the hotel and they start flying early in the morning.”
