Highly recommend this quiet and well appointed inn. Breakfast was delicious. The town of Bath is well worth a visit. (Maritime Museum, Kennebec Grill, Popham Beach). Last but not least the innkeeper, Elizabeth Knowlton, is friendly and helpful.

Elizabeth takes her guests very seriously, and her Inn reflects her attention to detail. She was ready for us, inquired about our breakfast preferences, and helped us select a nice dinner spot. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and there were several common areas for her guests to relax. The Inn is a long-ish walk into town (especially in the rain), but a very short ride. We totally enjoyed our stay here!

Thanks Donna, I'm glad you enjoyed your time here. Sorry about the rain; some things are just out of my control and 10 minutes in a downpour can seem like forever!

This is a great place to stay in mid coast Maine. The inn is lovely and Elizabeth makes it feel like home. I enjoyed being able to come back fro exploring and make myself a nice cup of tea and read in the living room. It’s a great location for visiting Reid state park and Popham beach as well as close to Bowdoin. Plenty of places to eat within 30 min drive or just walk downtown to bath. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt our favorite owner run inn. Elizabeth is charming, knows the area and off the beaten path places to eat and things to do and has multiple interests (ask about her wood carving, and check out her collections of birds). And she knocks herself out trying to accommodate your every request. Not an easy self-imposed task with 7 rooms full of diverse folks coming and going. Her breakfasts are delicious, beautifully presented and thoughtfully chosen. Always fresh fruit, yoghurt and her own special granola, good coffee, juice and water and a main course, sometimes ginger pancakes, sometime eggs and bacon or local sausage, home made breads...YUM! Now to the rooms...beds are lovely, house is not overdone, so it is calm and peaceful. And the choice of toiletries and abundance of good towels makes for a perfect . We’re stayed in 4 different rooms, the most recent being the Lavender room which might be my favorite, except I love the Garden room. You will be happy you chose to stay at The Inn at Bath!
