Was doing work on my house and need a place to stay for a few nights. Well, I didn't want to go home- the bed was so cozy, the view from my room was wonderful and it was just a nice place to be if I couldn't be home. It's a wonderful thing to just walk downstairs and have breakfast waiting for you. Fresh Coffee available in the lobby all day. They even offered to put the fireplace on in the lobby for me if I wanted to come down and read. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I got to go walk around downtown and shop the cool shops in Maine's cool little city! I need to do that more often. Highly recommend the Bath Hampton Inn.

We had the good fortune to book a stay at this hotel for six nights, based in part on the reviews found on this site. We had two rooms, one for a friend and her husband, another for my father and myself. My friend is extremely demanding, and in notorious for cleaning hotel rooms herself when she checks in, right down to the air conditioning vents. She reported that her room was one of the few occasions where she found no traces of dust or dirt. The entire hotel had a feeling of comfort and cleanliness, which may have been an even more impressive feat because it is pet-friendly.
Our room was spacious, the handicapped-accessible bathroom was convenient and and clean, and the mattresses were extremely supportive. All in all, we were more than comfortable
Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating, from the management to the front desk, to the housekeeping service, some of whom wore t-shirts that said "Team Bath." "Team Bath: seemed to be a more than appropriate term, because of the way everyone worked together. These were people who did not just respond to our requests, but who affirmatively went out of their way to ask us if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. In the event I return to Bath, this hotel would be the first one I would check out.

My wife and I with another couple stayed here on a whim while headed to Maine. Making reservations was very easy. The reservation was made literary hours before showing up on Father’s Day weekend. The staff is very professional and the hotel is very clean. The continental breakfast was very enjoyable. The small issue is l was told we would have a room with a river view. We did sort of. It seems some of the rooms on the second floor have the awning blocking part of the view. Room 206 see photos. While our friends were in room 118. The only issue is that it is right next to the kitchen. So, when they start making breakfast you will be aware of it due to some noise from the kitchen. Both issues are minor but sometimes the small issues upset customers. Over I enjoyed my stay. I would and will stay here again. I have contributed some photos. Bath Maine is a great little town and the Hampton inn is a great place to stay. Pool, exercise gym, business station. Continental breakfast, friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Go and enjoy your stay.

I have stayed in a number of Hamptons and have never been disappointed. This was no exception. We arrived way early for our reservation, but they put us in a large room on the fifth floor, all the better to admire the view of the Kennebec just across the street. I say pretty much the same thing in every Hampton review: it's a comfort to know what one is getting; the rooms and baths are spacious, well-appointed, and clean. So reliable. A detail: on the bathroom counter, it's nice to have a soap dish so the hand soap doesn't slither around everywhere. Hampton always provides one (other hotels, take note: it's the little things!)

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed week while visiting our boys. The room was super clean. We are so used to staying in Hiltons and since covid you have to request for housekeeping to replace you linens and make the bed. Everyday we came back from and adventure we had clean linens and our bed was made. It was so nice and we didnt have to say anything. Which hets annoying when you dont think about it on your way out and there is people in line. From the first time to the last time we stepped in the door the fireplace that was going gave us a homie warm feeling. It was so nice. We will stay here everytime when we take a trip to see our boys.

Finding a good hotel over Christmas is not easy. I’m so glad we found a great one! The room and staff was great and a special shout-out to the kitchen staff that provided us with a great post-run breakfast on Christmas morning. Thanks!

We've been several times now including a guitar original music contest; always fantastic 👌. Service is prompt, helpful and attentive. Pizza made in Italian style oven is incredible and the crust with butter spread...WOW! If that's not enough try their homemade pasta. 😋 We ordered to go but Matt, the head man, insisted on giving us an extra box of uncooked and a small container of sauce in case what we bought didn't heat up well. YES, it heated up well and we had two meals. Don't miss this one!

Strengths: Great location in downtown Bath on the banks of the Kennebec River. Front desk staff are welcoming and very professional. A solidly built hotel, which makes the rooms quiet. Weaknesses: Bedding is need of an upgrade. Mattress was very uncomfortable and the pillows are useless. The in-room mini fridge does not turn off and is most noisy as it cycles through the night. Hot water was scarce in the room. Breakfast buffet was average. No gluten free items were available, and the attendant seemed annoyed to be asked.

We had a comfortable extended stay here. The front desk staff are pleasant and helpful. Comfortable beds. The hot breakfast provided was the best we have ever had, not just a Continental, real eggs, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, and even waffles! Very Clean. Tobi and other nice ladies do a great job in kitchen. Appreciated so much. Centrally located close to alot of attractions. If you have never been to Maine please allow for travel time between towns as speed limit averages about 40mph. I would highly recommend this place and will stay here again when returning.

Overall experience is mediocre. Rooms are dated, but clean. Breakfast is very good by American standards. A major drawback is the fact that the room and bathroom are only cleaned every two days, and beds are only made every two days. However, you do pay a full hotel price. Final verdict is that this hotel is too expensive for what you get.
