We had a fun and enjoyable stay at Mill Hill Inn thanks to owners Lee & Woody Hughes. Their B&B is old house in Bethel that they have done a nice job of giving it a down home feel. I appreciate the relaxed and laid back atmosphere. Lee & Woody are full of local knowledge of things to see and...

We had Room 8, which was a huge, bright space. There was a comfortable king bed and three twins up in a loft. There was also a large futon couch. The room had a kitchen table and kitchenette as well. The combination of a/c, windows, and ceiling fan kept the space a perfect temperature. We started each day with a...

Mill Hill Inn is immaculate, charming, quiet and cozy! Woody's french press coffee is a wonderful way to start the morning. You will find that breakfast is delicious, and Woody and Lee are friendly and welcoming!

The inn was so nice that I wish we could have stayed more than one night. We had a very spacious suite. There are lots of “public” spaces in the inn--an area for watching TV, a movie room, a pool table and a nice sitting area. Breakfast was also quite good. The Innkeeper is very pleasant and welcoming. The inn...

First of all, the pictures of this inn don't do it justice. This is a converted barn or stable with high ceilings, wood beams, and a large woodstove in the large lobby/lounge. The style is eclectic and authentic, with local art and pottery from end to end. Innkeepers Woody and Lee are outstanding, like old friends. I had a Gin...

Quiet, private, clean, quaint, comfortable.....I could go on and on. Just go see for yourself. The owners are friendly and helpful and the little town is like Mayberry! There are several restaurants to choose from and a bakery also. The historic homes were a treat for us as we love historical architecture. The best thing to do in this town...

My friends and I have stayed here for the last 4 years and it has been perfect for our group. Lee and Woody are the most warm and accommodating hosts ever. The rooms and setting are lovely. The inn sits far back from the main road so it's very quiet and private. Woody is a wonderful potter, and his beautiful...

We arrived in early evening to a warm, friendly welcome from our hosts, Woody & Lee. In earlier days, the inn was a horse barn; the reno to convert the barn to such a comfy, inviting and beautifully decorated inn was very well executed! Our airy, sunny room looked out into trees on two sides, with a wickedly comfortable king...

We held our wedding at the Artist's Covered Bridge this summer and the Mill Hill Inn was our home base for everything. The rooms were comfortable and adorable and perfect for accommodating wedding guests. There are rooms that suit couples, single travelers, and rooms that are perfect for families attending together. It's great not having to stress out about how...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Mill Hill Inn, originally a barn built in the 1870s, was first converted into a private home in 1948 and then into a B & B in 1977. Lee and Woody Hughes purchased the inn in April of 2010 and renovated this wonderful structure from top to bottom during that summer. The newly renamed Mill Hill Inn opened its doors September 9, 2010. The inn is located just off the historic district on the north end of the Bethel Common, on a secluded acre and a half. This private setting is beautifully landscaped with both ornamental, vegetable, and herb gardens, producing food and flowers for the inn. The leveled lawn space adjacent to the front door area provides ample space for a 30' x 50' tent, suitable for weddings and private affairs. The Studio Bistro & Bar offer a unique menu and a full bar, served in the Great Room as well as in our dining room. The inn has six rooms, two of which are suites. All rooms come with new king sized beds, all cotton bedding, and private baths. The suites provide guests with kitchens and can sleep six to eight people. Rent one room or the entire inn, which can comfortably sleep twenty-two guests. PRICES: STARTING FROM $109 - $119, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, SUITES - $139, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY ... more   less
