I stayed during a weekend in March for a ski trip to Sunday River. The location was very close to the mountain so that was a plus. I did feel like the place was pretty run down...stained and torn lamp shades, stained sheets, musty smell in the bedroom, and tv cords and wires all hanging down the wall. I also...

We stayed at the Chapman Inn for 2 weekends in January and February. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast is also very good. The inn keepers are very friendly and hospitable. Their are plenty of restaurants with in walking distance of the inn and it is also very convenient to Sunday river (about a 10 min drive). Would...

My brother and I stay at the Chapman Inn with our "Adult Children" for a ski vacation. We choose to go midweek and the young adults, all 8 of them stay in the dorm while we enjoy the comforts of either room 2 or 4. Fred and Sandra are wonderful host, and the breakfast is great before hitting the slopes....

Had three generations and eleven people at the Inn for a reunion and ski trip over five nights - including five grandchildren. Everyone enjoyed staying there, with Fred and Sandra doing a few extras to make the experience special. Had a crib ready for the infant, offered leftover lasagna from a group dinner earlier in the evening at a bargain...

My partner and I have stayed at Chapman Inn twice, once during the summer of 2012 and once during the winter of 2013. The inn is about a 10-minute drive from Sunday River, conveniently located along the Mountain Explorer bus/shuttle route, and a 5-10 minute walk to various restaurants (for warmer months). We enjoy mountain biking and skiing at Sunday...

We stayed for a weekend of skiing at Sunday River. To be fair, we checked in late in Friday and checked out by 7:15 Sunday morning...we really just slept there and had two fabulous breakfasts...we did not spend time at the inn mingling with Fred or other guests due to our plans. Here are our impressions: Fred was a gracious...

Our second stay in the "Suite" which is a great way to make a ski vacation a bit more affordable. The kitchen is small but just enough to prepare meals since Fred will always get you whatever is missing from his own kitchen.
