Stayed for a ski weekend. New owners were great. Chris even drove us to the bar when the shuttle didn't come as scheduled. Great place to stay on close to Sunday river and downtown bethel. Breakfast is homemade to order.

A friend recommended The Rostay. We had previously stayed slope-side at the Jordan and that was fine but pricey. If you don't mind a short drive and more of a motel/B&B atmosphere at half the price, The Rostay is a great option. This is not a ritzy place, but it is cozy and comfortable and the owners and staff are...

Stayed there three nights in Feb 2017 while skiing at Sunday River. The room was cozy and adequately sized. The breakfast (included in our room rate) was very good and the service was quick and friendly. The motel is located about 10 minutes (drive) to Sunday River ski resort. There is also a shuttle to the mountain, which runs every...

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Rostay for a weekend and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. We stayed during a huge snow storm and one of the owners helped us shovel out in the morning to be able to get to Sunday River (which is only an 8 minute drive!). They also served...

When I made reservations to stay here during a Sunday river wedding, I was promised coffee and a full breakfast. Upon arrival, I was told that was all unavailable ( they could have called in the month following my reservation). They. said I could find another place to stay (my friends had dropped me off in the car, no public...

We stayed for an extended weekend skiing in Sunday River. The inn was located 7-8 minutes from the resort. The room was nice, but the real pleasure was the hospitality from the hosts. Efficient and friendly at check in and serving coffee, hot chocolate and cookies in the common room when we came back from skiing was really great. They...

The home made quilt was a nice touch in a clean room that was essentially straight out of the 70's. While there was wireless internet, there was also a working vcr in the room in addition to a fridge and microwave. I absolutely loved my stay here. The only downside was due to it being in the slow season, there...

Spent one night with two kids for a day of skiing at Sunday River. Property is rustic with a "north woods" feel, nothing fancy. Very comfortable room with a bunk bed for the kids. Hot cooked-to-order breakfast. Comfortable lounge area with lots of board games and a big (VHS!) video library. Mountain Explorer bus nowhere to be seen so one...

Just a really nice simple motel. Pine aroma and very clean. There is a breakfast as well, though I chose to leave early before it. Park at your door. Walls a bit thin. I would be happy to return next time I need an overnight skiing Sunday River.

After a long day in the white mountains this is a good place to stay. The owner is really nice and helpful, she gave us good tips what we could do in Bethel. (screw auger falls, step falls) The breakfast is very good, and served on real plates. Rooms are clean, shower is good, bed is comfortable. Just a little...
