Our group of five couples has just returned home from an annual five-night excursion, always in the northeast. This was our 20th year for such an adventure. The choice of an Inn this year was the Crocker Pond House in Bethel, Maine. The house, which serves as a non-smoking Inn (and was designed with that in mind), was designed by...

I have never written a review on tripadvisor before, but was moved to do so by my recent visit to the Crocker Pond House. We visited this past weekend after stumbling upon it on the internet, and stayed for two nights. I was sorry we could not stay the entire week. The website and all the trip-advisor reviews really don't...

We absolutely loved our stay at this extraordinary family home in the midst of nowhere :-) Going to sleep with the sound of the woods, being pampered with a tremendously good breakfast that concludes with entertaining and very interesting chat with the Innkeepers and the breathtaking scenery of the White Mount Ntl. Forrest meant far more than relaxation to us....

Husband, wife, daughter 15, sons 13 & 11 head to Maine. Ski lodges...done those. Looking for something different. Did we find it. My family could not have be happier, more comfortable, more engaged than at the Crocker Pond House near the Sunday River ski area. We were constantly scanning the beautiful architecture of this gem of an inn. We were...

Nestled away in the hills of Western Maine & very close to Sunday River Ski area is this lovely bed & breakfast. It actually reminds me of a Swiss or European hotel. Very intimate with radiant heated bathroom floors and caretakers who are intelligent, caring and make a wonderful breakfast, with coffee that would rival Starbucks, if there were one...

Hi, I don't write many reviews, but I thought I would for Crocker Pond. First of all, the house is beautiful and the forest around it is amazing. But you can get that anywhere. The owners of the home (Mr Crocker designed the house) are excellent hosts; there were games for my kids, a pot of coffee for me for...

my husband and I got married at the crocker pond house a year ago and could not have had a better experience-- we had only met the proprietess, ellen, once or twice before the wedding, but with the warmth of her greeting at the beginning of our wedding weekend, we were already beginning to feel treated as family, and this...

Crocker Pond House is located about 10 minutes outside of Bethel, ME and about 10 minutes from Sunday River ski resort. The rooms are a bit small but clean and comfortable. Two resident cats, Rocky and Willie, greet each guest. Breakfast was average and served at a large table where all of the guests gather. The inn offers 6 rooms...
