A variety of RV Sites are offered. There are open field pull through sites with full hookups and wooded shady sites, also with full hookups. We stayed for 4 nights in late September and decided, after walking around the campground, that we would like to move to a nice site near a tidal estuary in the back of the campground....

We stayed in site 22 in a 30' motorhome. There was a small grassy field right in back of us that only sites 22 and 24 could access. It was great for our two dogs. Our site was flat and nicely shaded. There was ample space between each site in this section. They have a shuttle that we took to...

Spent one night here - it was quiet and they have water view sites. The showers were clean and there was a laundry house and dishwashing site next to the shower house. It cost one quarter for every 7 minutes for a hot shower and there was no notification that you needed to take quarters. The shower had great water...

Stayed 2 nights at shore hills, sure 34 full hookups. Small dog run and nature trail. Restrooms clean. Office staff very nice, used shuttle to town which is dog friendly. About 3.5 miles to town. Cash or check only

If you have children...do not stay here!! The owner was by far the nastiest person I met in Boothbay! They do not accept credit cards so I sent a check to reserve, They cashed it and then had "no space"! They finally found us space. I caught her in several lies. What a miserable place this is!! So rude and...

We called a few weeks ahead to inquire if a reservation would be necessary for the time frame we would be arriving, after Labor Day weekend. The office told us no they were not that busy we would be ok as drive ups. This campground ONLY accepts checks or cash no credit cards and to "hold" a reservation is $53.00...

We had such a great stay at Shore Hills. Our site was on the point so we had a spectacular view. Very clean and a quiet site. The bath house was never busy and it was very convenient. Just a peaceful great time. Very close to down town yet no road noise.

owners were great, bathrooms were clean and the people are friendly! while the campground lacked a pool i can tell you that you that there is enough to do in the boothbay area and beyond that the campground for us was more a place to lay our heads at night not to say a dip in a pool would not...

We drove 41/2 hours to find out that they did not have our reservation despite the fact they had cashed our $50.00 check for deposit 2 days before we arrived. The site we had requested was gone and the site that they gave us would not accommodate our tent. There are no measurements on there website nor where we asked...

In the Boothbay area, there are few choices. We looked at Shore Hills in 2015 and placed a deposit for a 6 week stay in June-July 2016. That worked well and we settled into the site we'd reserved. This review pertains only to the "big rig" area near the office & pond. Overall, a nice campground. Summertime in Maine =...
