WIFI worked very well.
However, our bathroom was very small, and it came with soaps and extra toilet paper only. The bath mat was paper. There was no mini fridge to keep your beverage cold. During our stay, I could hear our neighbors. One coughed a lot while awake. I was not certain if the door locked from inside. I kept a chair behind it to feel secure, but since the door required an actual key (not key pad), I felt a bit like sleeping in a shed.
The charm of the place is that it lives up to its claim of being a 1950's classic. Rather than trying to do a budget update, Mid-Town Motel fully embraces its theme - and it works!
This motel is very convenient to downtown Boothbay Harbor, as well as out of the way of the traffic.
Steps away from downtown, no worries about parking downtown which is tight sometimes, you're already there. Coffee in the morning makes me happy. For you coffee lovers there's coffee in the lobby so you don't have to drag yourself downtown to get your fix. A great value so close to all the shops and restaurants makes this stay
a positive one.
