I am a repeat customer. Great prices, peaceful, felt right at home. Never had a bad experience yet. Rooms clean always has been quiet. Smoking rooms are a plus for those of us that have not give up the bad habit yet ,We will be back again!!

The first time I went to Vacationland inn it was late at night and the room I got wasn't up to my standards(I find my standards higher then the average person. So I left and went to one of the big brand hotels where you don't get that home away from home feeling! I had called Ross (the owner) and...

This place was so beautiful, relaxing, clean. Made us feel at home. The room we stayed in was beautiful. It was the lodging suite. Definitely will be back. Only thing was didn't see very much staff or get to interact with them except when checking in n out. But was still very friendly.

Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. Sort of a bed and breakfast. Everything is wooden neat well organized operation with an ice machine on site. For the most part staff was friendly I am a big guy so I had to sleep on the floor sometimes for fear of breaking the beds.

I have been a guest of the Vacationland Inn twice. The first time just an overnight stay. Service was pleasant and room clean. The second time I had to hunker down for an extended stay during the snow storm at the end of December. The service was exceptional with Gabrielle, Matthew and Leeanne going out of their way to make...

I can't understand how this place gets "excellent" ratings from anyone, unless there are two different hotels with the same name (and I know there aren't). This is a VERY old place and, while some see "charm," I see outdated. There is no security, BTW, as the main doors are unlocked day and night, so anyone can enter without a...

We frequently drive from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to the Southwest US, and from now on, this is going to be a regular stop. Beginning with the warm welcome from Matthew at the front desk and ending with the great breakfast bar in the absolutely charming breakfast room, this was a memorable, standout stay along our 3,000 mile route. Our...

We called the front desk upon arrival to ask for a cot. We were told there was a room with 3 beds available and they would move us there at no cost! It was great for everyone travelling to have their own bed. The waffles were good at breakfast, but I wish there was a fresh fruit option available. Great...

We had a wonderful experience staying here. The room was clean and comfy. It was almost like being at home. The staff was warm and friendly. The breakfast had all the items like a major chain hotel does. I would definitely book there again. Thanks for the wonderful stay!
