I tried to keep a very open mind when coming here. There are not too many options around in the winter, but I would PLEAD with you to find any other option - even at a distance. The staff was most unpleasant ans always acted as if you were bothering them. Whatever they used to cover up the odor in...

We are very sorry to hear about your experience. You had made your reservation online, and the room that you booked was one of our Standard Economy rooms with 1 queen bed. As stated online these rooms do not have a microwave or fridge. You informed our front desk staff that you wanted to switch to a room with a...

Great, friendly staff. Rooms neat and clean. Great location with easy on and off Rt 302 to nearby mountains. Having spent many years visiting the area this location is close enough to North Conway NH yet affordable rates. Shawnee Peak view priceless.

We stay at Pleasant Mtn Inn every October during the Fryeburg Fair and foliage season. The location is excellent. We stay in the back where we have a lovely view and quiet location. I would recommend PMI.

Family and I stayed on a friday night this past august, and we had a great time. The Young women at the front office that night was very helpful. Our little ones were a bit nervous about staying at a hotel for their first time, but the women in the office had them laughing brought them some games and helped...

We made reservations 9 months in advance to attend a wedding. Our room had no privacy, smelled like urine and I picked up a sliver of glass in my foot. Fortunately I found another before I stepped on it. Carpet was filthy.

At first we were pleased with the location and overall set-up of our room. We were located in the back facing the pond, and the room could comfortably sleep four people. There was only enough towels for two people, so we visited the front desk to request more towels and additional blankets. When we returned to our room that night,...

We are sorry to hear about your experience. All of our rooms and rates are based on a 2 person occupancy, and per the information you provided, we were only aware of 2 guests staying in the room. If we had known of additional guests, your room would have had the extra linens provided before your arrival. Our cleaning staff...

This was a clean room situated in a good place for us to stop. I would not go out of my way to stay here, but the rooms are reasonably priced. The rooms were large and clean, but rather dated. The beds were comfortable. There is a large grassy area overlooking a lake behind the rooms which strangely has only...

I have been going to Maine to visit friends in July for ten years. For eight of them I have stayed at Pleasant Mountain Inn only because they allow pets. Last year, I thought it was annoying that I had to change rooms twice because the first room they put me in was like a cave and smelled of mold....

We love that we can bring the dogs up and stay in a clean, friendly, reasonable hotel. It's close to all area attractions, and a great central location. Also, we love having a great restaurant on site! We were disappointed to hear they don't allow dogs in the rear building anymore.

I stayed at the Pleasant Mountain Inn in May, 2014. I was in the area on business and found the rooms clean, the view out the back spectacular. Ate in the adjacent restaurant two of the three nights I was there and met great people--locals, mostly--who enjoy the food and familiar faces. Looking to return here on vacation.
